The author seems to be Shinga Gin It seems to be his only manga, and he died early into its serialization, so there's virtually no data on the guy anywhere. He was a friend of Eiichiro Oda, and in the 25th one piece volume oda colored a page black in mourning. It was the only thing I ever found about the guy, but if anyone can find any other things I'd be interested in knowing. Gin lives on through this unfinished manga, and I think its really sad that he doesn't even get author's credits on myanimelist. |

There's a little more information about him here: https://www.mangaupdates.com/authors.html?id=19978 He also wrote Shonen Tantei Q. He died in 2002, so it seems he didn't die in the process of making these 90s manga. |
