| In the Senran Kagura games, the fights are fun and the fanservice is appropriate. The first episode of this show has a fight scene that's really confusing. Asuka believes that her friends are dead. Her hair is grabbed. she bleeds and she screams. Everything is telling me I should take this fight seriously but I can't because it still features the same kind of fanservice that the other ones have. It's a tonal mess and I can't get much out of it. |
| I haven't seen the episode, but I've seen videos and screenshots of it on Instagram. Kind of a spoiler, but I'm hoping I won't see anymore clips for the next episodes. The first episode got pretty dark towards the end, maybe they're taking a more "darker" route for this anime series?? |

| I am going to go out on a limb and guess you've only played estival or the splash game. Becauae at lest in shinovi versus there was still a semi serious plotline over the games story and some xharacters dies none od the playable ones but there was still a serious tone to some moments. |

You would be pretty much right about that. I've only played both of those games and the one on the switch. |

| If there is one thing the senran kagura franchise has shown me is that a serious tone can be kept even if every character is butt naked. The amount of clothes a character wears during a fight should not affect the tone. What I really enjoy about the series is how it seems to know when to take itself seriously and when to goof around XD |
