Opinion on the differences with other HoneyWork's content (the event timeline thing mostly)

So, they have changed yet again another detail in the stories (this first episode's ending...).

What do you think of all the events and details being changed among the different adaptations? Specially comparing the animes and the vomics. Differences are too notorious. I haven't read the novels, but I think the first one is more vomic-loyal rather than movie-loyal.

I'm quite eager to see what they will do in the next episodes. At least I hope they sincronize the events with the movie, and try not to change too much what happened in the vomics because it gets more confussing (though I guess luckily not too much happened in the vomics between Miou and Haruki. The most important thing has already changed in this episode....).

Opinions?

I don't know the timeline of the Honeywork videos. Can you provide a timeline? One by chronological order and one by the upload date? I got into Honeyworks when I first listened to Yuki Kaji's version 僕が名前を呼ぶ日 / The Day I Called Your Name. I have also enjoyed other Honeywork videos (especially the one sang by seiyuu).

Yeah, the chronological order is not so defined, because almost all of the songs don't give us specific days. (It's true you can guess by the season, but that was the whole point of this threat: HoneyWorks changing dates; because Miou asking Haruki if he had someone he liked, at least in the vomics, happened the same day Natsuki confessed to Yuu, in other words: autumn; and as you can see, in the anime it's summer)

But this is pretty much what you should follow if you want to catch up with the series:

By the way, two things to correct:

First, in Nonfantasy, the protagonist is not a random fan, but Hiyori, the new girl, first shown with Yuujirou at the end of Koi iro ni sake, and then introduced with Romeo with both Yuujirou and Aizou.

Also, you forgot five songs as far as I can tell:

Kawaiku ni naritai (wiith MV)
Kore seishun understand (with MV)
Sankaku Jealousy (no MV)
Miraizu (no MV, and was refferenced on the anime's last episode)
Tokyo winter session (with MV, it's new! :D And a new girl is shown)

On another approach:

Denzero's flowchart, which Arvin shared is pretty helpful (althought 'Propose' is missing). This shows that as long as you watch each branch from the begging, it doesn't really matter the order you want to follow. You can watch Hina and Koutarou's branch and then Yuu and Natsuki's.

Also, take note that Tokyo Summer Session and Tokyo Winter Session are two really difficult songs to place anywhere. For example, Summer Session was refferenced in the anime a couple of episodes back, but the MV shows a somewhat different story than the anime.

I knew I surely forgot some songs! :D Thanks for mentioning them. By the way, I too noticed today that girl in Nonfantasy was already there before. But didn't have time to correct it yet.
And I also forgot about Ippun Ichibyou Kimi to Boku no (movie ending).

This series and the first movie happen at the same time. They both start in summer and advance until autumn-nearly winter. We don't know specific dates, so we don't know which of the two starts first (althought I would say it is 10cm), but that's that.

Regarding the second movie: It starts some years before the other two, when all of them are still in middle school and then advances to the same year as them, but this time starting from spring, then summer, and then autumn-nearly winter.

Thank you for the list/reference!! Some of those songs aren't on the wiki (why?) so I'll have to bookmark these posts for reference too.

It's greatly appreciated, I want to watch all of this series! :D

I clearly am a bit un-educated in this series despite having watched a lot of it. Time span of time (in real life) between each series really has stuck it to me. Any who, after finishing this season, I was wondering: Why wasn't Koyuki Ayase in Itsudatte Bokura no Koi wa 10 cm Datta and where is he? Again, I apologize if this seems like a dumb question.

Do not worry it's not dumb. Because he did not have any impact on Miou's and Haruki's relationship, he is not shown on the series.

However, I understand what you mean. I complained about it in the last episode's commentary post, saying that Sena, Midori and Koyuki should have been featured in the graduation photography at least. They did not even need any dialogue, just be there, as the songs show (and because we know all of them are friends):
