OVAs 2 and 3 covered chapters 100 to 105 of the AkaYona manga; however, the original anime covered chapters 1 to 47-ish of the manga, and as such there was A LOT of content skipped between the anime and these OVAs. I'd personally recommend reading the manga from chapter 40 onward, as some content from the end of the Awa arc was mixed around and cut short.
