| I started watching Lucky Star when I first really got into anime and It didn't feel like I missed out on anything. I understand the references now but I like the anime less. The only thing I liked about the show was the character designs and the cheerleader dance. lol |
| I can still somewhat enjoy the show even though i don't get most of the references, at least that applies for me. The show mostly focus on the daily life of the girls so you might find some of them relatable. However, If you're the type to take things seriously then i guess it won't suit you. |
| It's like Gintama: can still be enjoyed without understanding references, but the show's much better if you do |
