So I just finished my 4th Anime.

- I started with Attack on Titan and thought it was pretty good. I really enjoyed the mystery elements and twists and always wondering wtf was going on. (this is a common theme I like)

- I then watched SAO first season - Absolutely loved the first Arc. I enjoyed the mix of Action and Romance and loved the bittersweet ending of the first arc. Then I kind of hated everything after that and quit it early into season 2 once it seemed like I wasn't going to get that feeling back

- Found Log Horizon after SAO to try something similar and although I enjoyed it, I never got THAT into it. The worldbuilding stuff was a little much and not enough going on with the characters.

Then moved onto Mirai Nikki and wow I absolutely loved despite it's flaws. I was VERY engrossed in this one as it hit a lot of things I was looking for. The mystery, romance, and mindfuck moments were what had me so immersed. I don't have anything against gore, fighting etc, but it doesn't have to be a requirement or a death game anime. Favorite thing I have seen by far up to this point.

So with that said,

What would be something good to get into next? As you can see I really enjoy the mystery/mindfuck/ and a deep romance(s). Action/Gore is acceptable but not necessarily required. Anything like the tv show Lost (more the psychological aspects than the survival)

btooom (surrival death game, similar to mirai nikki, but the mc is more likeable) (manga is far longer)

shinsekai yori (humans live in small villages in far future and have telekinatic powers. at the beginning the mc is 8 years old. last part of the story she is over 26. It is rly dark and psychological, but has a slow start. It is also famous for 1 episode which has a gay and 1 lesbian kiss (ep 8) and many people drop it there)
