Story:
The Union –
“Never mind them, where are the others?” Res asked, nearly demanding for an answer as Tnes did a similar arm motion past his face – Ernest quickly revealed himself giving off one of his signature smiles nervously.
“T – They’re at base Res, I went on my own to look for you.” Ernest admitted, Res was satisfied with his answer as he looked over Doce and the others.
“After I’m done with them, Team X is next. Don’t lose sight of them if they start to run.” Res ordered as he began to charge at Isaac who quickly prepared himself with twin draggers, they began to exchange blows mutually with dual draggers and dual swords – but Res was quick to overwhelm him when he started to pick the speed inch by inch, toying with Isaac. Res parried both of Isaac’s draggers at the same time, getting his opening he began to strike but his target was barely saved by his teammate John.
Grabbing Isaac by the shoulder John pushed him back with everything he had – his feet inches away from Res’s swords John swiftly punched Res in the face knocking him back. Much to Kaiser’s amazement, as she began to openly cheer for John.
“Idiot shut up! He’s on the opposite team for fuck sakes!” Maximus yelled annoyed, Ernest eyes were simply wide with pure shock. Not notice John coming for him until it was too late, feeling hands wrap his face it was far too late as John began to slide his hands down Ernest neck for his signature move – he was grabbed by his hair and swung around as Res threw him into a tree.
John stood up slowly as he created an obvious second copy of him, fully black they charged at Res with dark energy wrapping around their arms both John’s began to double team with Res with no real effect as he easily dodged all the hits. The real John’s energy changed to white, doing a hand motion towards Res who turned upside down and began to standing as if on an invisible ceiling not too high up, Res smirked.
“Oh a gravity learner? You have a long way to go.” Res commented, belittling John as he growled.
“You’re the one up there, confused!” John shouted as him and his clone jumped up to Res, bonding his arms, legs and head he turned the gravity to normal as they began to make a dramatic dive to the ground with Res head first. Before Res’s head could come into contact with the ground, with a bluish green energy a crystal helmet formed on to Res’s head. Kaiser began to stand up, sensing something odd she started to walk over but was quickly stopped by Konan.
“This isn’t our fight! Let’s withdraw while their focused on them.” Konan whispered, Kaiser looking over as Maximus nodding with Konan in agreement and Lola not seeming to care, he was at a loss of what to do.
A large cloud of dust covered both John’s and Res, John coughing heavily was dying to see what was in front of him things slowly began to appear again. Opening his eyes widely at Res’s incoming attack he quickly made a razor shield with green energy, it crumbled away quickly from Res’s crystal helmet. Breaking though John’s shield the helmet bashed into John’s face, knocking him out and sending him flying. Tugging her arm away from Konan Kaiser caught John from hitting the harsh ground as she looked back at her teammates in disgust.
“You are all cowards!” Kaiser yelled out, still holding up John with one arm she coated her other arm in red energy she fired a straight ball of fire at Res as it separated in pieces behind him – her firestorm was taking effect as Res countered it with his own much more powerful waterstorm.
“Your flames aren’t bright enough.” Res commented as he hit Kaiser swiftly with water energy around his hand, Kaiser and John were sent flying. Maximus shakes his head looking at his rival getting thrown away.
“I told her not to do something this stupid, we need to leave before we all perish.” Maximus warned the team, Lola just looked back glaring.
“You’re still like this? At least Kaiser isn’t a coward!” Lola shouted as she charged off from behind the rock, pulling her gun out she shot out several yellow shots, only one managing to hit Res in the arm as it paralyzed his right arm. Doce was getting his team up one by one, behind the scenes as they made quick yet silent retreat to lick their wounds.
“Oh? We meet again my fair lady.” Res said looking over smiling, seeing a shadow cast over him he quickly moved to the right – dodging Kaiser’s attack as it broke some of the ground around them instead.
“Focus on me, that’s who you’re fighting!” Kaiser shouted as she began to go for a flaming kick at Res, Res held up his finger as a bright blue flame appeared on top of his finger – swing his finger at Kaiser it became a hot laser as it gashed at her chest.
Ernest leaped on to a tree branch as pink energy lashed around him, the wind pushing them all back as Ernest summoned a giant pink and black – execliss rabbit. Lola looked over the rabbit in fear, quickly getting a hold of herself she began to look around. Healing Kaiser’s chest wound some with water healing – she requested she needed room and for her to get with the rest of Team X.
With navy blue energy a giant hole appeared on top of Lola’s head, great winds began to suck the rabbit slowly – Ernest creating his hand into sharp glass stabbed at the tree so he wouldn’t get sucked away. Res smiling at Lola, he uses his finger once more to cut a huge branch off – bigger than the hole itself it began to go straight for Lola.
“Maximus do something! Do something, Lola is going to fucking die!” Konan began screaming as he watched death within seconds of Lola Maximus finally getting the balls to stand and fight quickly makes the wood split into several pieces – missing Lola and unfortunately Ernest too completely. It was inches away from penetrating Res’s eye.
“Stop throwing my team around you bastard!” Maximus demanded as both Res and Ernest began to laugh.
“You’re in no position to go throwing around demands weak one!” Ernest shouted with cocky-ness in his voice, Res begins to draw his swords but quickly stopped – going to open his mouth no words came out to his surprise. Ernest immediately noticed.
“Resiak? Are you ok?” Ernest asked worried as he tried to look over to see what was happening, his eyes finally focused as he a shadow like Konan grabbing onto Res’s shadow. Konan is behind the rock passed out, much to everyone’s surprise.
“Why didn’t he warn us about a move that keeps him so widely open?!” Lola asked her hole finally closing as the rabbit had free movement again, Ernest began to charge at Konan’s defenseless body as Maximus appears on top of the rock – holding his hand on the halt of his sword – the rabbit fired a blast of rock energy at Maximus who quickly knocked it away. Res holding a bright ball of light in his hands, tossed it slowly at the shadows – freeing him from Konan’s grasp.
Kaiser began to run over in attempts to give Maximus a hand but she was quickly stopped short by Res, Res appearing in front of her as he grabbed her arm. Attempting to make to hit Res with her free hand that was also quickly stopped by Res’s other hand.
“You’re so fierce now.” Res said smiling, looking back at Ernest he began to yell. “Buy me some time, don’t kill the other livestock.” Res ordered as Res began to take flight with a fighting Kaiser, Konan’s shadow finally back into his body as he regained consciousness.
“He’s trying to split us up, he’s not as stupid as he looks! Kaiser don’t you dare let your ass get taken away!” Maximus yelled as he began to follow by foot, the execliss rabbit blasted enough bolt of lightning in front of Maximus – barely missing him.
“I’m your opponent now, pay attention now.” Ernest said smiling evilly with joy, unhooking the crossbow on his back he held it with one hand and his spell-book with the other.
“You don’t really expect to put up a fight using two long range weapons do you? They don’t even go together, do us a favor and let us pass. We won’t have to beat you then.” Konan suggested seriously as Ernest laughter filled the battlefield.
“Disobey Res for fools like you? I should be suggesting to you ideas on how to make me, not beat you. But instead I’ll play with you all.” Ernest said smirking as the rabbit blast a bolt of lightning once more at Maximus, Lola was quick to teleport using water energy. Sliding in front of Maximus she created a mirror strong enough to withstand the blast and even fire it back at the rabbit piercing it’s left eye as it howled in pain – much to Ernest’s surprise.
“Do not underestimate us, we’re Team X after all.” Lola said proudly as Maximus was looking up at her in shock, his butt glued to the ground. Even Konan stood across the battlefield in pure shock, Kaiser watching in amazement began to smile.
“I won’t be going anywhere with you! If I can’t help myself, my team will always be there for me!” Kaiser shouted as she began to suck in air, flames appeared inside her mouth Res was quick to grab her by the throat to stop her fire breathing. Letting Kaiser have a hand free, he used his own free hand to create a ball of flaming blue fire as it came closer and closer to Kaiser she again opened up her mouth but instead to swallow the blue flame much to Res’s joyment.
“You’re so predictable.” Res said smirking as Kaiser’s eye filled up with tears quickly, steam was coming out of her ears, mouth and nose. Looking down over her body the blue flames were sliding down the back of her throat, into her chest and belly. Before she even say another word, she passed out quickly becoming dead weight as Res threw her over his shoulder and went off into the distance.
Hours, minutes, seconds they all seemed the same when dreaming. Finally opening her eyes, all she could see was blue below her – the shore miles away as she looked up to see no other than Res himself.
“Good afternoon sleepy-head, do you remember this place?” Res asked as Kaiser was quickly to start shaking around from being captured.
“Of course I don’t, its water! I’ve never been around water!” Kaiser shouted, making Res sigh as he let go of Kaiser’s shirt – letting her fall in the water. For several minutes Kaiser was kicking and splashing the water, and screaming for dear life on top of it. “I don’t know or care about you want, but you need to disappear! I already notified several staff members of both the Wind and Earth nations of your existence in the tournament!” Kaiser said screaming, finally not kicking at the water so much – Res began to chuckle.
“You think I came in here blind? I already set a trap, you may have messaged them the exact details – but I can guarantee you they didn’t read it that way. Even the TV doesn’t display the true scenes of what is happening at this very moment.” Res said smiling, making Kaiser groan in anger as Res pulled out his scanner and displayed a video saying “LIVE” with Kaiser and Res fighting.
“Just leave this nation alone!” Kaiser demanded, obviously unimpressed by the illusions he’s giving - making Res laugh once more.
“You’re so passionate about a nation that doesn’t even like you.” Res commented, making Kaiser splash water on Res in frustration – Res came down to the water and began to walk on it. Bending over to Kaiser’s ear he began to whisper.
“For you to help awaken the door of the Nether, I need you to swim.” Res commented as he began to walk away.
“Nether? Door? What are you babbling about?!” Kaiser shouted as Res sooner or later simply vanished, much to Kaiser’s annoyance as she hit the water with her hands she began to swim doggy style heading to the shore. Before she could make it even more than half way there weird strokes of water began to spring up over the water and even under it – closing in on a paranoid Kaiser she began to scream and cry in fear – calling for each one of her teammates.
Without question, a hand grabbed Kaiser’s collar and pulled her from the water – looking up above Konan had white long feather wings like snow – some of his feathers were raining down upon Kaiser and the water. With Konan’s free hand he made a long angelic like staff appear in his hand, touching the water his staff started to make the water glow for a few moments, dispelling the monster in the water.
“U – Ugh. Do you know who I am?” Kaiser asked nervously, looking at Konan in all of his holy glory. Konan could only smile at the silly question.
“What type of guardian angel would I be, if I couldn’t even remember my own teammate?” Konan asked nicely as he bought them both to shore where Maximus and Lola was waiting – their eyes in pure shock from looking at Konan’s angelic form, it’s as if he glowed himself.
“K – Konan.” Lola said slowly, overlooking Konan’s new look in amazement.
“What is this fairy tale shit?” Maximus said in surprise as he tugged at Konan’s new robes, much to Konan’s annoyance.
“Anyway, thank you Konan from saving me back there. But you literally glow, can you turn down the brightness in anyway?” Kaiser asked, Konan sighing he went back to his normal form – his staff being replaced with his book. Lola snapping out of the sight of Konan’s form, she began to look over the wounds that Kaiser should have got from the water monster and the ones from before but she seem fully healed.
“Kaiser, all your wounds are gone!” Lola said in shock as Konan overlooked the water and Kaiser – he smiled.
“I healed her completely in my Angelic form, but anyway I’m tired - can we go setup camp?” Konan suggested as they all nodded, Kaiser began to lead the way as they walked cautiously through the forest once more near the mountains. All their stomachs were growling as they finally made their way into a shallow cave, not too big. Going inside Kaiser began to create flame but her red energy rendered itself inside when she attempted to create a flame.
“Now would be a great time for light, stupid. Didn’t think you were an elf or bat.” Maximus said to Kaiser as she became annoyed.
“Yeah, yeah. Just give me a second.” Kaiser said as she snapped her fingers with a smaller amount of red energy than usual – nothing came out much to her surprise. Sucking in air she began to blow out a small flame not even able to hurt a fly, Maximus began to laugh at her attempts.
“Awww, is your fire oils out? Goma got us a ton of stones we needed, just refill.” Maximus suggested, making Kaiser calm down as she nodded.
“I suggest we go get wood for Kaiser to light, Maximus?” Konan said as he dragged Maximus away with him outside the cave in search for wood.
“Yeah…He’s right, I’ll just refill.” Kaiser said to herself as she began to check her filters, she was nearly empty on fire and wind oils. Crushing a few stones she poured the oils from your hand into the slots of her arms, legs, pistols, teeth and sword. Breathing in air, she began to blow the small amount of fire like last time much to frustration and confusion.
“Come here.” Lola said, Kaiser was hesitate at first but she walked over to Lola and sat down with her against the wall. “Get the book from your inventory.” Lola ordered as Kaiser pulled out her scanner and pulled out the book.
“Aren’t we being aired on TV? Is this a good idea Lola?” Kaiser asked nervously as Lola simply nodded yes.
“I put an illusion at the entrance of this cave, the ones who come in will be lost for days other than Konan and Maximus. Even the people watching see us only sleeping.” Lola replied, making Kaiser gulp.
“You learn things and teach others though kissing, so when Res kissed you. He taught you this? Why?” Kaiser asked in confusion as Lola began to giggle.
“You finally asked, and you’ve been doing your homework! I must say I’m in impressed, you’re correct. Why taught me this, I don’t know. He wants us to spirit release our signs, for me I’ll also be awakening my eye so I’m interested. Why he wants to give us this power is beyond me.” Lola replied, confusing Kaiser more as she began to open the book and look through it.
“When two hearts beat within one entity, they create one power spiritual form similar to that of a God and or a God’s Knight – this is known as a union.” Kaiser read off, looking off at Lola confused as Lola began clapping from Kaiser being able to read. “W – What am I reading? Is this an old folk’s tale?” Kaiser asked in confusement, Lola grabbed the book and flipped to another section of it.
“There are two levels, a God’s Knight Union that is specialized to normal Yin/Yang sing owners and a God’s Union which is specialized to a Interyin/Interyang sign owners.” Lola explained, touching Kaiser in the center of the collarbone a red Interyin sign appeared where she placed her finger – shocking Kaiser. “The signs from both parties must be released before forming a union, if you’re not ready you will find yourself dead. If you have no sign, you will find yourself dead.” Lola explained, making Kaiser gulp hard as she looked down at her sign.
“How do you know when you’re ready? Or what yours is even?” Kaiser asked in fear, making Lola sigh.
“This is why no one really knows about the Union Technique or practices it, no one knows when you’re ready – it’s very risky. You can only realize someone’s sign with the power of “Spirit”, something that is not a stone nor oil.” Lola explained as she got up close in Kaiser’s face, Kaiser could only blush as she shut her eyes tight – Lola touched Kaiser’s sign and heart making Kaiser pass out she quickly opened her eyes but she was obviously in another location.
“Wh – where am I?” Kaiser asked out aloud as she began to walk around, dead trees were all around her as flames and lavas were everywhere. A young man no older than 25 leaped down from one of the tall dead trees, landing next to Kaiser causing her to jump out of fear and land on her butt.
“Yo.” The man said as he held his hand out to lift Kaiser up to her feet, he began to walk towards the same tree he jumped down from with Kaiser close behind.
“I, um. Hello? Is – Is this an illusion? I was at a tournament.” Kaiser explained, making the man stop in confusion.
“You came to the Temple of Spirits during a tournament? You nation hoppers get stranger ideas each generation.” The man said laughing, upsetting Kaiser.
“I am Kaiser! To walk freely on all land is our birth right!” Kaiser shouted, making the man’s laughter die out as he smiled.
“I am Zeref of Fire, originally from the Dark Nation. Stand down angered one, I am too a Nation Hopper.” Zeref explained he continued the walk into the tree with Kaiser, getting closer and closer the tree began to open making a bridge for them to get over the lava river surrounded by the tree.
Walking inside the tree many other boys and girls alike were all over the tree. Some jumping down to meet Kaiser and welcome back Zeref.
“Oh my, it’s been years since someone attempted to release their sign! She’s one of us of all things!” One of the girls said as she touched Kaiser’s hand, another boy came over to kiss Kaiser’s hand.
“I’m Marco my beautiful hopper.” Marco said winking at Kaiser as Zeref cleared his throat and grabbed at Kaiser’s arm – dragging her downstairs deep within the tree.
“W – We’re those past Nation Hoppers too?” Kaiser asked in amazement as Zeref signed.
“Sorry for their rude introduction, it’s been quite a while but yes. All of those were past Nation Hoppers with Inter signs only as you.” Zeref explained as they reached a tall door, both pushing it slowly open with all their might began to walk down the long hall.
Getting down to the end of the hall, the room began to light up everywhere around them. Revealing a large sleeping wolf girl who slowly opened her eyes, much to Kaiser’s shock she fell down falling through Zeref which made her scream.
“So loud, what is it now?” The wolf girl said in annoyance as Zeref laughed, he lifted Kaiser up with his hands.
“I can use my hands, but that’s about it. I don’t really have a physical body – none of us do here. This is the spiritual releasal world.” Zeref explained as he bowed and pointed at Kaiser. “Hello Sage of Union, I have bought Kaiser who requires to release her sign.” Zeref explained as he shoved Kaiser’s head down to bow, the Sage snickered.
“If she has a sign to release.” The Sage said as she waved her large hand over Kaiser, revealing Kaiser’s Interyin sign between her collarbones – much to Sage’s surprise. She tapped on the sign and placed her hand on top of Kaiser’s head – Kaiser’s eye flashed open as Lola was looking at her with one eye. Her other two eyes closed as she was resting against a wall, Kaiser looked around to find Konan and Maximus staring at the both of them intensely.
“Finally awake, what are you two anyway?” Konan asked, looking at Lola’s eye in confusion.
“There’s a fucking eyeball on Lola’s forehead, what the fuck?” Maximus asked in disgust as Lola’s eye flashed opened and glared at Maximus, much to his surprise.
“Oh! You guys got the logs here.” Kaiser quickly said trying to avoid the conversation, she began to suck in her breath but again she spit the small amount of fire as before.
“Relax, work on your water abilities.” Lola suggested as she created the fire to light the logs, they all began to cook some of their execliss meat.
“So, you have an extra um..” Konan began but couldn’t finish as Lola sighed.
“I awaken my 3rd eye, every alien has the potential to open their eye.” Lola explained, she began to overlook Konan.
“What about you, want to explain what happened back there?” Lola asked, now it was Konan’s turn to sigh.
“My race is, a Valkyrie. I am an ex-Angel.” Konan stated, much to Lola’s surpise.
“I thought Valkyries are only females, a male can be an Angel but not a Valkyrie?” Lola questioned as Konan agreed.
“Usually you’re right, but I am an Angel with his own goals. I study both Holy and Death oils which is a tabooish act to do, I also changed my sex. You should be allowed to be you whatever color, sex, race, oil you are or study.” Konan said pridefully, all their mouths were on the ground.
“You’re actually a girl?! Now wonder you bitch so much!” Maximus said out aloud as he began to laugh, Lola began to squeal.
“You make such a handsome boy!” Lola said making Konan eyes roll.
“Why didn’t you say that before?” Konan asked annoyed, Kaiser put a hand on Konan’s hand and looked him deeply in his eyes.
“You’re an Angel so you must know, what is at the end of the world?” Kaiser asked curiously, making them all think.
“Endless lands, duh.” Maximus was quick to reply.
“Spell seals to stop us at one point or another.” Lola replied.
“A vast drop, soon landing in an unmarked sea.” Konan finally replied, leaving Kaiser shocked.
“You all have no idea do you?” Kaiser asked in amazement as they all began to shrug with their heads held low, she simply sighed as she took a piece of meat and began eating as they soon all followed. Laying back, she noticed drawings on the walls covered in dust – sitting up she quickly walked over to the drawings and blew the dust away.
“What’s this?” Lola questioned softly from behind Kaiser, lighting her finger on fire with the use of red energy. A drawing of a map titled ‘Earth Land Regions”, with paths and buildings not even marked on their scanner maps which is constantly updated.
“Wolf pack and Fox pack? They seem to be fighting over the Earth lands, is this even real?” Kaiser questioned, Maximus cleared his throat.
“It’s been awhile since my father has gotten Intel on these packs but their very much a real thing and a threat. Outsiders, rebels who run wild wherever and whenever. They think their packs are close enough to be called clans even, they go as far as to challenge my clan and others. Do the staff just scan anything and paste it in the virtual world without looking? They said this was supposed to be safe, everything is double checked.” Maximus said in slight fear, he quick took a few pictures of it with his scanner.
“We can’t get confused right now, we’re short a box. We basically only have 2, let’s rest and then head out immediately in the morning – maybe we spot some targets just waking up or setting up breakfast.” Kaiser suggested, she touched her sign slightly as Maximus quickly grabbed her hand. “W – What are you doing?” Kaiser asked, as she slowly pulled away – Maximus looked back at Lola.
“You weren’t planning on confessing your love to me at all! Were you?” Maximus asked Lola with pain his voice as Lola laughed nervously.
“Excuse me? I never said anything about love or anything.” Lola said nervously, Maximus pushed her against the wall – using both his arms to block Lola’s path.
“You explained to me about the Union, we’re suppose to do together!” Maximus shouted as Kaiser put a hand on his shoulder.
“Hey rel –“ Kaiser attempted to say as Maximus quickly snapped back.
“Shut up Nation Hopper! Whatever you said to her, I swear – “Maximus began as Lola kicked him off and quickly got to her feet. “A Union is marriage! Deeper than marriage, we will be one! You lied.” Maximus said with tears rushing down his face.
“T – This is why I went to Kaiser after noticing my mistake, I attempted to tell you Maximus but you refused to get it through your head! I don’t know what this marriage thing is, a Union is a simple form to obtain to gain more power.” Lola explained as Maximus began to run out, Konan was guarding the entrance with a wooden bars.
“To be fair, I never even thought of it being like – a romantic thing ya know? I don’t know where this is from, or who made it – or if it will even work. But I can understand how two people or more, can love each other so much they create a union. But if she didn’t imply it Maximus, don’t – “ Kaiser began but was quickly cut off by Maximus’s sharp punch to her jaw, knocking her back a few feet.
“Shut up, Shut up!” Maximus began to yell as he charged at Kaiser, she could only sigh.
“This prideful over a girl? If you insist, I’ve been waiting for a reason to kick your ass.” Kaiser said with joy as she whipped the blood from her mouth, Maximus was close – all Kaiser could do was smile as Lola screamed and Konan simply watched, guarding the entranced.
“You no good Nation Hopper of a teammate, go back on the boat where you came from!”

Running takes 3 hours, by vehicle 1 hour, and soon the train which will be 30 minutes.
