Everything about this show was great. I first got into anime because of Deathnote, yes newbie alert and like most newbies thought i would get creeped out by these slice of life shows. Now the slice of life genre is probably my fav genre.

This show had everything and discussed things that use to plague me and to a certain extent still do. Love, unrequited love, will friendship always last, being jealous of people who are more skilful then you and that stops you from realising that you excel in other areas better. So bittersweet when Kaoru is crying on the phone and Shiroyama asks if Kaoru would be interested in a system that took money from every adult in the world. Then Kaoru starts smiling and says that it would have to be more than that(forgot the amount).

The biggest part of the show for me was the future which always gets me depressed. The whole takemoto bike ride was awesome and i had to actually save everything he said ^_^

My fav couple without a doubt was Mayama and Rika though i did really feel sorry for Yamada. I was also very surprised that shuu liked hagu. Though it was a shame that they didn’t show us what happened to Yamada and Nomiya.

So many other things to say, but i will stop before i take up two pages haha. Oh and how could i forget the ending with Takemoto crying whilst eating the honey and clover sandwich :( :( :(
Do you know of ‘The Magnificent Steiner’ ? The main character was normally a weak, sickly man. When he was in an emergency, someone would come and help him. A secret friend. But, the main character never realised...... that his secret friend....Was himself.

It was indeed amazing, let me reccommend you Nodame Cantabile, it shares some similiarities with Honey and Clover, yet it is different and almost as great. :)

As you said I Love everything about this anime. The plot and characters are awesome and I love all the insert songs (Specially the ones by Suga Shikao). I have watched this anime 3 times so far and every no and then I play 1 or 2 episodes at random. It's full of bittersweet moments and at times makes me laugh so hard that my stomack hurts.

Honey and clover simply is the best anime I have watched ever.

I agree, I believe, it's been the best anime I've ever watched, eventhough I didn't love the ending, it has made me want to watch more slice of life anime.
As the title of the post says, Wonderful!
