| I like to watch an episodical series parralell to the main show i am watching. Normally this parrallel anime falls in gthe category of slice of life, with some thought provoking themes. I would like to know which one would you reccomend. And also a short anime to watch simultaneously. |

| Both are really good, watching both make me feel peaceful, void, and thinking about humanity and life Mushishi is a bit darker and focus on one's life journey, while Natsume tends to be warm and focus more on humanity side I personally enjoy both shows, but if you want to start go with Mushishi You might also want to check Kino no Tabi for another similar anime |
