i saw guyver a long time ago, its probably pretty lame, but i know back when i saw it i thought it was awsome. so i would probably still like it.

My turn Guyver as an action-series?

Yah, I'm also eager to see DMC's live-action, I heard its awesome and since its on its last run, the DVD must be right around the corner... As for the 20th Century boys L-A, it premiered on 16th October, so it may take a while...

are you serious? detriot metal city and 20th century boys have live-actions. i have to see those. also you should add nodame cantabile, city hunter, and guyver to the list.

Just remembered that Salaryman Kintaro (Anime and Manga), MPD Psycho (Manga), Detroit Metal City (Manga), 20th Century Boys (Manga), Golgo 13 (Manga), Densho Otoko (Manga) and GTO (Anime and Manga) also have Live-action adaptions.

Added! Thanks!

Speaking of which there is an Hokuto No Ken L-A, haven't seen it though... And Gegege no Kitaro also...

Here's the anime link (for the first OVA): http://myanimelist.net/anime/3509/Riki-Oh:_The_Wall_of_Hell

Second OVA: http://myanimelist.net/anime/3511/Riki-Oh_2:_Child_of_Destruction

And the Manga:http://myanimelist.net/manga.php?id=3296

It reminded me so much of Hokuto No Ken, in many aspects...

I've never heard of it. Just ran a search on MAL and it didn't pop up. I'd like to add it, though. Could you provide a link?

Crani | Oct 24, 2008 4:42 PM
Just saw the L-A Riki-oh, it was hell-a fun, cheesy dub, horrible dub, lots of blood and some crappy ass effects... Just brilliant!

The manga is tons better than the OVA, and I think the director was a huge fan. I think it'll be done in CGI, but I'm not sure. Either way, as long as they don't try to make it appeal to kids, it should be something to look forward to

Hmm I never expected Battle Angel Alita to get an adaption. Not that it's bad (haven't read the manga yet, and that should be better than the OVA), it just seems to be too unknown in the mainstream for it to get enough attention to warrant a live action adaption.

New pics and vids... Sorry about not updating for a while. It'll come and go with the info I get, but the net is pretty sparse right now...

I just found a Sky High adaptation. It looked pretty neat, although I haven't watched it yet. Link provided!

Kurosagi sounds an awful lot like Yojimbo, but I could be wrong. Its been a while since I watched that movie.

xMatronxMalicex | Sep 29, 2008 10:27 AM
I'll add them to the list.
