Yesterday, the server that hosted the Unofficial MAL API have crashed. The server is back online and I fixed the 500 Internal Server Error that prevents the API from running. I apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully in the near future, the new official MAL API is stable enough so we won't have to resort to hosting our own Unofficial API. |

2.3.14 is now released and is the last version for macOS Mavericks and Yosemite, unless there are any bugs.2.4 will be released late next week, if there is no show-stopping bugs in the latest beta. |

The first beta for MAL Updater OS X 2.4 is now out, which restores the ability to post tweets automatically based on what you are watching. After many complaints about the update the limit, I decided to remove the restrictions, but instead show a donation reminder every 24 hours. I am going through difficult times due to a loss of a job and making this my current job. I initially decided to do this change due to the project funding being unsustainable and I can't currently afford the costs to keep developing the software for free. If there is more people supporting the development on Patreon or through normal means, I won't implement any restrictions in MAL Updater OS X 3.0 that were planned.I apologize for anyone I angered from the change. MAL Updater OS X 2.3.9 and 2.3.10 will be blocked so people can update to the build without restrictions. |

The community edition of MAL Updater OS X is now live and instructions how to compile is here:https://github.com/Atelier-Shiori/malupdaterosx-cocoa/blob/2.3.x-legacy/HowToCompileCommunityVersion.md The community version is free of restrictions, but you must compile and also install the server required for the application to work. If this is too difficult, use the official version only. Remember, I will not give any support, the community will only give support. Do not post issues if you are using the community version. |

Submitted a bug fix with a crash if a user resized the columns or sort in Manga Search and relaunched the program. 2.5.1 is in for review and will be released on the App Store most likely tomorrow. |

@boompikachuYou only get this error when you made too many login attempts. MyAnimeList have a limit on login attempts, including API calls to verify credentials to check if the login is valid. Wait a few hours until the login timeout expires. Make sure you have a password that does not use a colon character as that does not work with the official API for verifying accounts. |
