Ginga Universe

Yoshihiro Takahashi was the man behind the manga of the many Ginga series. From the successful Ginga Nagareboshi Gin to Ginga Densetsu Riki to (the still on-going series) of Ginga Densetsu Weed. As GNG became popular, a 21 episode anime was made in 1986. Since the manga version was still being written during the production, the final wolf arc was not included in the anime. In 2005, GDW was also made into an anime, but it spanned 26 episodes. It's much shorter than its manga counterpart and a few things were left out. Ginga Densetsu Riki was never made into an anime. In the Ginga Universe club you can chat about these 3 series, but you can also talk about the Weed Gaiden, Ginga no Inochi, and My Dog, My Weed. Other works by Yoshihiro Takahashi is also able to be discussed, including Shiroi senshi Yamato, Kacchu no senshi Gamu, Lassie, Fang, and Byakuren no Fang.
