The Sengoku Neverwars RP

<strong><em>At the Beginning...</em></strong> <em>Over a thousand years ago, there was a goddess named Amaterasu who was kind and gentle goddess of the sun and all its warmth and light. Her lover on the other hand was… not. Her lover was a god named Tsukuyomi, a god of the moon and darkness. He was a bitter and cold man with mood swings and various degrees of violence. But it wasn’t until he murdered in cold blood their friend Uke Mochi the goddess of food that really pushed Amaterasu over the edge. She banished from her sight and said he would never again see her light. Bitter at his lover’s betrayal , Tsukuyomi made a ‘friend’ that also dwelled in darkness like himself… he met the Demon King, lord of all Ayakashi, Oni, and Youkai. For a millennia, the Demons have been trying to open a rift into the human world from the <em>Nether</em>. After centuries of hard work they succeed in opening a rift into the land of the rising sun with the aid of the moon god. For they both made a dark pact… at the cost of the mortals of Japan. The people were unprepared and thousands were killed on the first night. Almost a year has passed, and the Demons have taken over most of Japan excerpt Hokkaido, Kyushu and part of the middle island. Deciding to halt their war Oda Nobunaga decide to bring together all the great lords of the ‘Warring Nations’ to come together to combat the Demons. Even with the aid of the great goddess Amaterasu, the men and women of Japan sruggle aginst the creatures of the night… so come young samurai, holymen, and shinobi! Let’s bring light to Japan’s darkest nights!
