What is Starcraft?

StarCraft is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment. The first game of the StarCraft series was released for Microsoft Windows on 31 March 1998. Soon after, the Brood War expansion pack was released. Starcraft is a phenomenal hit that has sold almost ten million copies world wide as of 31 May 2007.

Nearly Korea's national sport, Starcraft has reached levels of competitive play unrivaled by other games in the RTS genre. Reknowned for its perfect balance, strategic depth and high level of skill to play, Starcraft remains one of the greatest games of all time. Whether or not you love it for its acheivement in games development or for childhood memories of nuking 1000 hydras with a couple clicks, you can express your love for the game by joining Myanimelist's Starcraft fanclub.

No you just spread out your forces too much. Both Artanis' and Zagara's entrances eventually lead to the same choke point in the middle. Putting everything there instead gives you one less area to defend (and even if you do that, Zagara will most likely not die since her base is a bit off to the side which makes both attack waves head straight over to your choke point rather than cleaning up Zagara's northernmost buildings)

guess i did it wrong, i was under the impression that it would be easier to defend if he was alive haha.

In the first place there is absolutely no reason to save him whatsoever. You gain literally nothing from completing that objective. No solarite, no achievement, no cutscene, nothing. Even the Bonus Objective counts as completed as long as you let at least one of your two allies survive, in which case you can just ditch Artanis and protect Zagara instead

i found artanis to be completly incompetant that level, even compaired to zagara- he would just charge out alone and die and then even his base wasnt as strong as zagara. he had like a handful of zealots, 2 dragoons and liek a voidray. i basically beat his side alone

Easiest is just to let Artanis' base die and hold the high ground with mass tanks supported by some goliaths/vikings and planetaries, and use Kerrigan's beam frequently to queue up all big enemy units

For the achievement to beat it on hard without using Kerrigan's beam for anything but Void Threshers though... I basically tried everything but the only unit comp I found to both be able to survive the late game as well as not dying early on was going mass cloaked banshees with viking/science vessel support for anti-air and auto-repair (also wall the ramps with planetaries). Only thing you need to watch out for is to not stack your banshees together too much or you'll get raped by thor shots
