WOW EATTHEWORLD you're so lucky I wish if they protest in Saudi Arabia!
RHough I'm not Saudi but I live in this country from a looooooooooooong time and I never saw them protesting !
THey really don't allow that :(

Anyways good for you and I like the quote " FROM IRAQ TO PALESTINE, OCCUPATION IS A CRIME!" :)

EatTheWorld | Dec 31, 2009 1:52 PM
I went to the Gaza memorial protest event here in my city.

FROM IRAQ TO PALESTINE, OCCUPATION IS A CRIME!

Gentle-Breeze | Dec 31, 2009 11:44 AM
Hello there everybody I know I haven't been around here for a looooooooong while but SAT is killing me :(

Anyways, I had to drop by and tell you guys REMEMBER!
Please remember what happened in Gaza and see what's happening now.
Remember the phosphorus bombs and the innocent Palestanian children.
Remember the screams of the mothers and the corrupted houses!
Do you still remember the voices of the children who lost their families!
I don't mean to return back the painful scenes but I just wanted to say plese don't forget them cause what happened at 2009 can be repeated at 2010 PLEASE DON"T FORGET OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN PALESTINE !

I also wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to all our Christian friends and welcome to our club Dana_A =]

Oh and Slenderfall I agree with you about what's happening in Iraq it's truley sad and even though this club is about Palestine yet we still must care about other c ountries in war.

Again I apologize for not being around here from ages but school is torturing me [WISH I HAD A HUGE HAMMER TO DESTROY THIS SCHOOL , NO I WISH THE GROUND JUST SWALLOWS IT] OK I'm off topic ^^"
I just want you guys not to forget Palestine and remember them just when the war starts once moreI know it's painful and I'm sorry about that but we have to feel how they suffer.

I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day :)
Take care everybody ^-^

Hey all, I'm new here :)
Well it's nice to a have a group like this here on MAL, it's one of the rare groups that have a real cause...
Anyways, Happy Eid to everyone ^^

slenderfall | Nov 24, 2009 8:09 AM
I know it's slightly off topic - but we are having another enquiry into last Iraq war - even Blair will have to asnswer questions - probably be another whitwash and no war crimes charges ever being made

RE: MaxTehNoob

I absolutely appreciate and respect your point of view.
Peace is a wonderful thing but sometimes it's not the best solution all the time.

Palestanian people suffered for ages and I think the one's who started the last war wasn't them.
Just having the sign of peace with them after all the massacres they've done is really hard.
I agree with EatTheWorld that's somehow the objective reality .

EatTheWorld | Sep 9, 2009 7:34 AM
The need for national liberation of the Palestinian people is indeed a complex and multi-faceted thing, as is the entire history of Zionism and how it became such a major force in world politics.

However, there is also such a thing as objective reality- and the hard cold fact of reality is that- while the Zionists can kick, scream, and force their viewpoints down their throats as much as they want- the Palestinian people were the ones that whose homeland was torn out from under them and scattered across the world with nothing for them to go with. Anyone who genuinely believes in justice and the right of national self-determination will know that siding with the Palestinians and working to crush the Israeli state is our internationalist duty.

MaxTehNoob | Sep 6, 2009 11:32 AM
Just a small thing that I'd like to say about this club. I don't really support the statement on the page that says " join us if you are on palestines side."

I think that if we look at it like an us against them sort of issue, then nothing will be accomplished. If we went at it with a more 'stop all human rights violations in the middle east' or something a bit more general rather than we don't like you guys so lets have some peace/listen to us.

slenderfall | Sep 2, 2009 9:18 AM
Hi from the UK - thanks for letting me join - good to see there are other like minded anime watchers around

EatTheWorld | Sep 2, 2009 7:36 AM
The Intifada must continue! Until the settler State of Israel is dismantled, there shall be no peace or security in the world.

Shocking. Truly.

Sesame-chan | Jun 24, 2009 9:17 PM
@ Akinori
Thanks for the news.
What's happening between Fatah & Hamas is just frustrating, and that's exactly what Israel wants :/

Akinori | Jun 1, 2009 4:11 AM

Akinori | Jun 1, 2009 4:08 AM
It seems that talks between the Hamas and the Fatah are over.

Hikayo | May 20, 2009 3:58 PM
Thanks for the link!
Watch it when I get the time.

Sesame-chan | May 16, 2009 9:21 PM
Yes, thank you, guys, that's what we need!

Akinori, thank you for the link, I will definitely read that.

Breeze, wow! this video is great, I'm putting it on the club profile.
I actually downloaded it and will try to spread it.

So, every one of us encounters these gems, please share them with the rest.

Please watch this video, BTW it's flagged by youtube *cough* typical *cough* as many other Gaza videos are.

In case you haven't realized lots of videos about Palestine have been completely removed from youtube, due to "violation of terms of use" including some versions of "we will not go down"... How manipulative they are!!

Gentle-Breeze | May 13, 2009 10:04 AM
AHHHHHH back to commenting ^^
Yay I'm glad that people are here again :)
I must admit I haven't been here from a long time ^^"
I only come during the weekend and sometimes one day in the week!
You know being honest is nice I'm one of the people who left from a long time, I feel ashamed -_-

Anyways, I read the comments and I see lots of people back.
But I must say maybe the club sort of ummmmm.....lets say took a break for a bit but that doesn't mean that people don't care anymore and the Palastanian issue is dead.
There are people who still care and support them.
There are people who still watch news and care to hear and see.
I mean it's in the heart.
I won't judge people for not commenting we need to excuse them maybe they got troubles, busy, traveled anything.
And as long as Palestine is under occupation then the issue isn't dead!

But at the same time I'm not saying abandon the club NO!
If anybody gets the chance to have a free time please submit some news, an amv about Palestine, a historical event about what happened there.

Now I got something and I beg all of you to watch it!
Palestine Is Still The Issue

BUt I have something I didn't like.
They say Palestanians are humiliated because they have nothing to defend themselves with and killed and just people watch.
But I see that they are heroes who should raise their heads up high and be proud of themselves but not feel humiliated or with no pride.
Also about the commiting suicide thingy.
I don't really thing it's a crime. I consider that away of protecting themselves because they are forced to. [If you watch you'll understand what I mean]

OK so before I leave special thanks to all who are commenting and sorry for my lack of commenting I'm actually going through some problems so forgive me ^^"

Oh and a new banner is added ^-^

Urjuan | May 13, 2009 5:21 AM
Aye, the Gaza situation is a perfect example of "out of sight, out of mind". :(

Most of my focus lately has gone towards the current issue in Yemen- demands for independence by Southern separatists. We're trying to win our freedom back, yo. B)

Akinori | May 13, 2009 2:46 AM
I already know this.
When I'm saying that it'll soon, I don't think to the humanitarian situation, but to the politics. But anyway, it won't be better if the Hamas and the Fatah don't make any agreement. ">>

That's long, but really important.
