im always lurking here and a avatar with Ikaros is always a winbtw Otoshimono manga is really interesting right now ( its always interesting for me but now its even more interesting:P).It seams there will be a final arc in the near future |

I just finished Try in my 2nd time. It became my 2nd fav season after Next. ^^@ MomoDestro I kind of agree. I struggled a little b/c of Pokota but at least Naga was in E-R which made me happy (although I'd prefer to her someday in her old outfit in HD animation). ^^ But yeah, I don't care much for Pokota--he was just there. Though, my opinion may change when I re-watch S4 and 5. I was gonna end it with Try but still didn't get enough. Damn those awesome characters! >< |

Sorry to get into this conversation but in my opinion I agree with Senzu15 about the desaturation. As for the series of Revolution and Evolution-R they were good on a general basis but I believe they loss the essence of what the show was in the original three series (Slayers, Next and Try). Slayers Next was my favorite by far of the Slayers series. As for the characters they really messed up with Xellos english dub on Revolution. |

I enjoyed Revolution and Evolution R, yeah the original aired show was better in my opinion, and some jokes seemed forced at times here... It still kept a lot of what made the old show so great intact in my opinion. still that classic slayers feel for me. |

you know what bothered me the most about revolution and evolution-r? It should be desaturated...the colors were to bright...it was especially synlige in Zels case ( cause of his skin color)...as for the revolution/evolution series ( hope you guys don't mind my spam:P) if we take them as a one whole series ( with 26 episodes) then it was ok. Revolution was mostly fillers but in evolution i could sense the "spirit":P of our old Slayers:D but i just hate Pokotta ( or whats his name) |

@ Senzu, nope i mean, the way that it was animated and the like, the newer ones generally lack in the art department (mostly). But that's my view. But a new character might be interesting. |

the only issue with making it again, is that... i would think that the integrity of slayers would be compromised (unless they did it in the same way as they used to, instead of pumping out episodes) |

Let's see. I have Slayers, Next, and Try all on DVD in separate box sets. There aren't very many extras that come with them.Slayers extras: Episode 1 Edit - Alternate languages Textless songs Trailers Next Extras: "Otome no Inori" Animated Music Video Textless Songs TV Spots/Commercials Try Extras: Textless Songs Trailers That's it, really. There was another box set that came with all three together, but I don't know what kind of extras came with them. I don't own Revolution or Evolution-R. |

unfortunatelly i don't have the dvds...they don't sell them in my country and i didn't want to buy them at amazon etx:P but i was interested if they are giving some bonuses with themrelly hope that they will produce more Slayers anime/movies....there are enough materials from the novels.Unfortunatelly they aren't fully translated...grrrr |
