Perhaps it isn't meeting expectations in terms of sales? Printing costs quite a bit and we're still feeling effects of the last recession. I'd gladly sacrifice that if it means they can still make quality releases.I'm wondering, though, if this is getting anywhere near the licensing sprees tokyopop and ADV manga did a few years back. YP's gotten big pretty fast but licensing alone is an expensive gig. |

I was ecstatic when I heard Yen Press was releasing Bunny Drop, and I went out and brought it right away. Can't wait for more volumes! |

The Yen Press release of Bunny Drop is the size of Viz's recent larger than average manga releases. And the cover is shiny/slippery. It looks like the series will be getting lots of quality releases.Go buy it. |

I purchased Shoulder a Coffin Kuro the other day and I was expecting something like GA. Boy, was I way off. The shitton of inking must make it expensive to print. |

You may wish to add Spice and Wolf as Yen is printing the first novel in Dec. of this year and the manga next year. |

@CMB17:Hear, hear! Btw, you might have all seen the news, but YP is picking up Yotsuba& where ADV manga left off. Does this officially mean the complete dissolution of ADV's manga? Wonder what'll happen to GSG? |
