OMG the similarities are spot one. Too bad there isnt a longer version of that as it would be interesting.

PotatoFrenzy | Mar 25, 2012 11:44 AM
Also the game reminded me of this doujin: LWMG(NSFW)

Faded_Illusion | Mar 25, 2012 10:49 AM
Yea ive been using the 66% patch since i wasnt patient
I agree the art could have been better for some of the monsters but for the main ones its pretty good. And your not the only one who hears that hears that, as its some kind of gag i believe

Only 100 defeats, you need to lose more often then so you can max out all the encyclopedia information O and FYI if you do 50 evaluations you unlock the encyclopedia entry for the goddess

PotatoFrenzy | Mar 25, 2012 10:30 AM
They said something about a "66%" patch which i have no clue lol

The game is very humorous (The angel Sword makes me LoL every time) and the story is good. Some of the monster girl's art... i think they could've done better... but then again it's pretty much for like 70 different heroines, though Alice's Art is great.
Btw idk if it's just me, but Alice's personality just shouts "Horo/Holo" from Spice and Wolf. The only difference is that Horo = Tsuntsun and Alice = Deredere

And the first 1 hour of playing i noticed i had only one chance to unlock CG and abilities for each monster so i had to restart and play on Hard, so i like have nearly 100 defeats lol... or approaching there :d

Faded_Illusion | Mar 25, 2012 10:17 AM
yea but the second game isnt fully translated yet, well the guy said he would finish it probably some time in April though. Also there will be a third game later on.
BTW how are you enjoying it?

PotatoFrenzy | Mar 25, 2012 9:53 AM
a textbook is good, it's just that you won't be able to vocally check yourself. If he is that dedicated and self-disciplined to master Jap then yea go for a good text. RS was meant for interactive, hands-on learning.... probably won't teach everything there is, but it may get you hooked into learning more on your own.

@Faded i think im almost done with MGQ, which means im halfway done cuz i found out there's a second game lol

Faded_Illusion | Mar 25, 2012 9:26 AM
i could try finding a japanese learning textbook in and ebook format if you would prefer that

PotatoFrenzy | Mar 25, 2012 9:24 AM
you usually have to pay, but for torrents you don't you don't:

If you don't have a Torrent Client: uTorrent Click on Free Version.

Here's the torrent link: Rosetta Stone Japanese Click next to the magnet -Get This Torrent-

Also it will be an iso file (virtual cd/dvd without having the actual dvd) so you'll need a virtual drive for it: Daemon Tools Lite
Make sure you click on the "download" link that is in small blue text, NOT the larger green one's! Those are just Ads.

DeuxNyx | Mar 25, 2012 6:54 AM
@aer0gam3r yah, thats what i want to use it for.^^

@PotatoFrenzy ive heard of Rosetta Stone but i don't know if its free or u have to pay to use it. ill look around if i can get any free download.

PotatoFrenzy | Mar 24, 2012 4:03 PM
@Churumi I don't of know any sites, BUT there is a great program you can Download/Torrent: Rosetta Stone For Japanese Levels:1, 2 and 3.

I guess my judgment on DaCapo will change if i played the game lol There's a lot of anime I just found out that were originally from a game. (Like Chaos;Head Wtf! xD)

Gyarutsundere | Mar 24, 2012 2:23 PM
shuffle! essene + is the best ;) shuffle! itself is also good but shuffle essence got more routes ^^ and essence + has mayumi route which I love the most <33

also da cpao anime sucked hard indeed -.- ... but perhaps VN is good ?

aer0gam3r | Mar 24, 2012 2:16 PM
@PotatoFrenzy In my opinion the Da Capo anime REALLY sucks compared to the game. The game focuses on each individual heroine in great detail, and a lot of the stories are very touching.

@Churumi Sorry I don't actually know any good websites to help you learn Japanese. Some people recommend Japanesepop101, but I don't really have any experience in using it. I would recommend taking a Japanese paper at University if you get the chance. Otherwise study from a good textbook. Learn all the hiragana and Katakana as soon as possible, then move on to learning some basic Kanji. After learning some basic grammar, start reading. Untranslated eroge comes in good here =3.

DeuxNyx | Mar 24, 2012 10:36 AM
i don't speak or know how to read Japanese. does anyone know a good and helpful site, to learn how?

PotatoFrenzy | Mar 23, 2012 6:39 PM
Right now I'm on MGQ and DearDrops. I'll probably go to Shuffle -> DaCapo -> Canvas2'

i only have the first DaCapo; haven't DLed the sequels yet. I was interested cuz i liked the anime and i already know the characters

aer0gam3r | Mar 23, 2012 12:58 PM
I liked Da Capo, but I found shuffle very average. The characters are somewhat well made, but the overall development wasn't really that good.

There is a 'prequel' to canvas 2. The setting is very similar, but the characters are completely different. So you don't need to play it to understand what's going on on canvas 2. I enjoyed canvas 2 greatly ^^. However, if you remember the quote by Keima, "games that focus on the meetings, rather than the events themselves", canvas 2 would probably fit that image. There are a lot of meetings with the heroines, most typical, but a couple are very special.

PotatoFrenzy | Mar 23, 2012 11:42 AM
@aer0gam3r I've downloaded Shuffle, DaCapo and almost finished DLing Canvas2. Is there a Canvas 1 or a different VN that's a prequel to it?

aer0gam3r | Mar 22, 2012 11:25 PM
If you check out my list (make sure you check aero XD), you can see that the number of translated eroge only make up around a quarter of it =3. So you shouldn't let the language barrier be the reason to stop playing eroge ^^

I don't really have the time to play a game as long as Kamidori >__>. Not sure about you guys, but I follow monthly releases, so my backlog is huge.

Tweek91330 | Mar 22, 2012 10:36 PM
I can see the ending =D.
Kamidori is a rpg (a tactical one it seems) so that's why it's 100+hours.

PotatoFrenzy | Mar 22, 2012 10:11 PM
that's something Keima Katsuragi would say xD

aer0gam3r | Mar 22, 2012 1:57 PM
I'm pretty sure it's not translated, but I never let my lack of Japanese ability stop me from playing untranslated eroge =3

Kamidori is VERY long from what i've heard about it so far __>
