Lenalee has had a lot more screen time than a shonen heroine does. Even more than Rukia does in Bleach anyway, and Rukia is even more popular than the main character right now. I guess the amount of time that she's been absent for seems a bit long and she seems to be neglected because of the hiatuses before and the manga being a monthly one now. But when looking at the chapters, I think she doesn't get neglected at all.As for Kanda, he's been absent for volumes, honestly. He has his screen time now because there are some things that should be revealed about him. Lenalee being there is not too important right now. I still believe that she has important roles to fulfill in later chapters. Don't get me wrong, btw. I cannot wait to see Lenalee again in the manga. I'm the type of fan to miss her favorite characters even in an absence of just one chapter. Road has much less screen time than Lena and I hope it stays that way till the end of the series. Even if another interesting female is added to the story, I don't think that she could be as awesome as Lenalee. Lena has beauty, hotness, a brave heart, honesty, brains and everything. What more can a person ask for??? *looks at Allen* *throws a 'hurry up and confess already' look* Oh still, general Claud is also very interesting, I think. |

Actually if you think about it Lenalee has had Plenty of screentime in the past.The komurin incident>The Rewinding town>The china arc>The sea trip>even the ark arc though she was in no position to do anything she still tried, the poor girl>the Level 4 attack final half. if you add all of those up plus the few short moments inbetween Lenalee is second in screentime only to Allen. Lavi has had no consistent duration of screentime Kanda literally VANISHED for a few volumes before reapering in Edo. Still MORE LENALEE IS WANTED, HOSHINO >:O |

That's what you get when the mangaka is female. More spotlight for the boys than the girls. At least she managed to create a cute nice female like Lenalee. Unfortunately not any other interesting female except maybe Miranda but she gets a little annoying because of all her fears if she gets too much spotlight so it has to be limited for her. On the other hand Lenalee could be shown all the time in the side of All with no problem but she gets neglected. Well we also have Road but she's one of the supposed badasses of the show and we can't have her in every panel like she's a common leading character. Am not crazy about her anyway. Other than that, is boys,boys ,boys. |
