Light novels. The manga is based on the light novel like the anime, and the manga is actually further behind with adapting the light novel plot than the anime. New chapters of the manga don't come out that often, so that's probably why you're not seeing any. |

Assuming that it still follows the novels, there's no way a second season would be 'boring' and 'destroy the series', lolwut. The anime only went up to the end of the 3rd or 8 novels currently released, and as someone who has read quite a bit of the un-animated scenes I can guarantee that it would be just as good, if not better, than the first season if those parts were animated. |
