The site was taken down because AC was also streaming anime and such on their main page. They kept getting pressured by companies and threatened to get sued a lot. So in the end Umagon and Mavi decided to take it down. Sadly. :P |

I thought PSPCrazy was the only admin. Some people just pass websites on to other people when they get tired of them. Kinda a waste *shrugs* |

@traed It's not like that dear.. Anime crazy's admins stated that it's quite a hassle keeping the website and it's getting really hard to maintain it. That's the sole reason for them to shut down. |

I havent been on AC in years so I didnt know it was taken down. Which sucks since I had some PMs i woulda wanted to keep i think.I think it has to do with the heartbleed issue. I noticed another forum i frequent died recently because the admin was not present. If AC did not have admin around to reset their password the whole site woulda been shut down for security. Which is pretty stupid and overreactive really |

http://www.animeflame.net/Any old AC members that are looking for a new forum should join that. The biggest migration took place to there. The forum is stable and pretty big. :'D |

It's sad that they had to close down. I haven't been watching anime online for quite awhile, but I went on to find something today only to see the news that my old go to site was gone. Anyone know what happened? |
