Well, it doesn't work for me. I like it on, say, Nagato Yuki. But I'm not so fond of it on Senjougahara. I like that type, but she doesn't make it work for me.By the way that Kamina parallel fits is great in many respects. I didn't so much mind Kamina if it weren't for all those "omg no homo but manly guys are the best I'm so tired of these woman resembling men in animu and mango, he'd punch them all in the gut like the real man that he is! All hail the alpha male all hail the alpha male!". To the point that anymore I can't hear Kamina's name without cringing. Oh how much better the golden days were when GAR still meant homomasculinity to the people who used it. |

Doesn't suit Senjougahara? Isn't that a bit of a peculiar statement?Her cold disposition is Senjougahara. It's kinda like saying Kamina screaming all the time didn't fit him, or Shinji whining all the time didn't fit him :/ |

For some reason I never could get into Senjougahara that much. It could be her long hair as I prefer short haired girls. It could be that the "emotionless girl" type personality doesn't suit her as much as Kanbaru's hot blooded personality suits her. Something about her character design I didn't like in the first episodes and it hasn't improved much for me since then. And something about Kanbaru's energetic hot bloodedness is more endearing, even though I love the Kuudere types. Something just doesn't fit together right with Senjougahara for me.And the fact Senjougahara is so massively hyped just further ruined any chances of improved opinion. And I'm starting to feel a little tribal rivalry favoritism in favor of my favorite Suruga. |
