Hey, so the summary is out for Volume 7, "As the Deep Ravine's Wind Howls".

As taken from Yen Press, it reads:

So honestly i'm spening my saturday night/sunday morning/PRECIOUS SLEEP TIME trying to find a summery and whatnot of the "Kiri- Wild and Dandelion"

I've figured out that its a VISUAL NOVEL.

thats about all i got :'D

Kazamir | Sep 13, 2011 4:34 PM
From what I've been able to gather Dandelion is kind of like a short story.

In other news Amazon is officially shipping out vol 5. Just got it in the mail today :D

>^< gaaah i wish the translations came out faster D: (although i understand that it takes a long time cuz its a novel)
gaaah! i wonder sooo much about this series >^<
like does harvey remember life before he was an undying? was his name ephrium (lolwat sp?) back then too or is that a new name as well? will kieli and harvey ever make out?! and if so is it a crime cuz he has to be over 100?! I DONT KNOW! D:< and i desperately want to D;
...
...
...
not to mention this is like the only non-manga book ive ever read and im 17 >: D
(i feel so cool xD)

Haha kudos indeed! And I for someone who's never translated anything, I suppose I am ignorent... although when I posted it, I didn't actually expect that anyone would translate it. Pfft, it's a novel for gosh' sake. But definitely, my hope for this series is that it has enough popularity to gain enough profit for the translators to continue it until the end while still being worth their while.

Also, xKirin, thank you so much for the spoiler lesson! Somehow I've never caught on to that... :D

Dude, yen press is doing a stellar and timely translation of this series already. It's selfish to ask that someone waste their time doing a fan-translation if there's a fully competent, not to mention extremely active license out there. I say this from the perspective of a fan translator of novels, myself: it's an extraordinarily time-intensive, stressful, and ultimately thankless job, especially when you know an English version will be out in no time at all. DO NOT MAKE SCANLATIONS MORE ETHICALLY GREY THAN THEY ALREADY HAVE TO BE!

Kudos to yen press for doing such an excellent job so far!

I actually have the book of volume 5 in Chinese translations since long time ago, however i am unable to translate the entire stuff since my English standard isn't good enough for me to do so. ^^"

LUCKYkason | Apr 27, 2011 11:11 PM
No one is responding... hehe, well anyways, I downloaded Kieli volume 5...but its not in english, so I can only look at the pictures :( anyone up for scanlating? Haha http://www.ziddu.com/download/8897770/lightnovelKiri005.zip.html This is the link.

Hey y'all--maybe I'm just behind, but I didn't know that it was possible to find summaries (the kind you read on the back of the book) for the next books. I haven't searched any further into this than 'The Sunlit Garden where it Began', but I HAVE found the summary for it--and since I don't know how to do spoilers, here.

*SPOILER WARNING*

"Reunited after too many hardships, Kieli, Harvey, and the Corporal arrive in Westerbury in hopes of locating Beatrix. Instead, they find themselves settling in with an old friend, Shiman, and his traveling performance troupe. Despite the relative ease of their new arrangement, Kieli senses that Harvey remains strangely distant, and secrets he's been keeping threaten to tear them apart - perhaps permanently. Is Kieli prepared not only to learn the bitter truths that Harvey has been concealing but also to discover a past that the Undying himself may not recall?"

Yeah, I got mine from the pre-order I put in ahwhile back on amazon, and seeing how the book is already out, I would say the link is legit.

BYTHEWAY, I just finished the book. I'll say nothing more than that until someone else does. (Not to mention I don't know how to put in a spoiler thingy... D:)

ARXLaevatein | Apr 16, 2011 7:16 AM
Uh, did any of you guys purchase it from here? http://www.amazon.com/Long-Night-Beside-Deep-Pool/dp/0759529329

I don't know if this is legitimate or not.
