Being the ace in his baseball team as a pitcher and having the honour to play in "The little League," Hanagata Michiru was called a baseball prodigy. Eventually, his shoulder gave out to the restless pitching exercise and he had to quit being a pitcher, leaving his team. As his first high school year begins, he noticed the baseball team of his current school is in a complete mess with none of the members actually caring about the sport, and so decides to try his best and reform the team alongside with Amano.
