Johnny WrightA man sent to the chair for a crime he didn't commit, a man named Johnny is reborn as Ash, a man with the ability to turn to ash and form solid matter from ash. Guided by Angel, an angel bound to him by "The Committee", Ash is given a single mission, to prove other wrongly accused criminals innocent. As a rebellious soul, Ash ignores the rules set for those given the privileges to return and uses his own methods to save the innocent people. During his quest to find evidence, Frame Burns, the same man who accused Johnny, learns of his return and sends Whirl, an insane sociopath who likes to kill with a graceful and playful style, to hunt down Ash. During their last fight, Ash sacrifices himself to drag Whirl down to hell. The truth about Johnny's case is revealed and Frame Burns is arrested.
