A beautiful, high-ranking courtesan who has a hairpin that looks just like Hana's cell phone accessory. She also has some relation to Rennosuke.
At a young age, her marriage to Rennosuke was arranged which she willfully opposed. Instead, she developed feelings for the son of a samurai family, Kiyomasa. But the difference in their social statuses gave the relationship slim chance of ever coming to anything. When her home suddenly burned down, leaving her with nothing but debt, she decided to go work in Yoshiwara. Rennosuke and Kiyomasa attempted to stop her but she insisted, so Kiyomasa gave her the hairpin to remind her of him. Upon going to Yashiwara her engagement to Rennosuke was canceled.
