Haruno (ハルノ)Haruno is a character of the day who appeared in Turning Over a New Bayleef (EP202). She is a gardener who lives between Ecruteak City and Olivine City.As she and her Machoke were returning from picking wildflowers, they noticed Bayleef lying unconscious by the riverbank. She took Bayleef in, offering her a bowl of warm soup and a place to live while she waited for her Trainer. Bayleef quickly adapted to life at Haruno's place and enjoyed the company of the other Pokémon as well. When Ash and his friends arrived at her place, Haruno quickly realized something was amiss between him and Bayleef. She offered them a place to stay while Ash and Bayleef repaired their relationship, and the group accepted. After several failed attempts to get Bayleef to rejoin him, Haruno advised Ash that friendship needs time to grow. Team Rocket then arrived and stole some of Haruno's Pokémon with their Robo-Bayleef.
