Eddy is a character of the day who appeared in An Undersea Place to Call Home. He is an underwater archaeologist along with his wife Lindsey.
While cruising along the Muraille Coast, the couple stopped to help Ash and his friends after Ash's Pikachu was poisoned by a Skrelp. After Lindsey treated Pikachu, they introduced themselves to the group. They explained that they were going to dive in a specific area in the sea that same day, looking for the remains of the shipwrecked S.S. Cussler that had crashed into an iceberg long ago. Seeing everyone's enthusiasm, the couple allowed the group to join them on their expedition.
Eddy, Clemont, and Bonnie stayed aboard the boat and manned the bridge, following the progress of the submarine carrying Lindsey, Ash, and Serena. During this time, Eddy often gave Lindsey critical pieces of information during the search. Eddy ordered the submarine back to the surface to avoid the strong whirlpools after Lindsey managed to stop the ship from collapsing completely because of Team Rocket's actions.
Afterwards, Eddy remarked that he was glad that his theory about the water currents carrying the S.S. Cussler to the Muraille Coast now had some solid evidence to support it.
