Kongou Yotsurugi (世剣 金剛)Kongou Yotsurugi is one of the characters in the Japanese manga series, Astro Royale. He served as the previous boss of the Yotsurugi Family until his passing. On his deathbed, he named Hibaru Yotsurugi as his successor. In the Showa era, particularly in the Kanto region, Kongou was highly esteemed by the locals and earned the nickname "The Asakusa Bullet"Kongou Yotsurugi, Hibaru's father, held a respected position in their community, known as "The Asakusa Bullet," leading the Yotsurugi Family, a notable gang in the Kanto region. He prioritized helping the needy and opposing injustice, passing these values to Hibaru. Despite his role in the yakuza, Kongou's compassionate deeds, especially towards orphaned children, earned him admiration, even from rival gang members. He adopted kids like Terasu, whom he trained in the ways of the yakuza. Recognizing potential in both Hibaru and Terasu, Kongou entrusted them with the family's future. He wished for Hibaru to lead after him, seeing in him a mix of strength and righteousness. To signify their roles, he gave them pendants: one for Hibaru, made from the toughest bullet, and one for Terasu, a pendant resembling a shield. Kongou urged them to pledge unity and support while swearing on these heirlooms. Despite criticism from some siblings, Hibaru stayed loyal to his father's teachings, valuing honor and kindness. He stood by his beliefs, even when others saw them as outdated, insisting on aiding the weak and challenging the powerful. While he recognized the gang's shift towards legality, he refused to abandon his principles, willing to step aside for Terasu if it meant upholding their family's values in the modern world.
