Kirie KawafujiKirie is Takao's father. He wears feminine clothing, which leads to numerous comments and puzzled glances from others. Kirie has a very poor opinion of Seishuu, whom he believes is talentless and merely riding his father's coattails when it comes to calligraphy. He also frequently butts heads with Emi (Seishuu's mother), and always pushes Seimei to work.Kirie's relationship with his son parallels that of Seimei and Seishuu: both are in the same profession (Kirie is Seimei's manager, Takao is Seishuu's), and both sons want to be accepted by their fathers.
