A veteran armor repairer, he is blunt and surly. Was once a great warrior but has lost the ardor to fight and spends his days apathetically. But his state of mind starts to change through his encounter with Natsume who never gives up on her dreams.
Kaburagi is actually not a flesh and blood human, the body Natsume interacts with is an avatar for the cyborg Kaburagi. His main purpose is to work as a bounty hunter for Solid Quake and recover chips from humans who are deemed to be "bugs" due to performing adverse actions against the system.
