Ri Seiryuu, who is found on a little rescue boat, along with another shipwrecked man, is more than just a cast away.
Rescued as a little boy, by a fishing boat, the crew as well as the captain notice that something is wrong with the boy. He never smiles and behaves odd towards others. The Captain of the fishing boat decides to try an experiment with the boy.
Until he smiles, he is not allowed to get out. Seiryuu is forced to live seperated from the crew. The room, he gets locked up in, is small but full of books, a TV and videos. Information about mankind and how it behaves on the planet. He grows up in a room filled with knowledge about killing, destroying and hate, and is kept there until his body has matured.
