Growing up in a rich household, Komomo grew up in a rich household and got used to getting anything she asked for. She especially loved having Natsu make confections for her. At 15, her parents go into debt and Komomo is left to live and work on her own. She later begins to work in a confections shop owned by Natsu's father where she starts to learn more about herself and human interaction.
In Volume 5, Komomo's parent's business begins steadily gaining it's money back and Komomo is forced to return home where she is locked in her room, barring her escape.
After her return home, she is placed into a marriage agreement with Misturu, which she later declines due to her love towards Natsu and her desire to return to Meli Melo.
In Chapter 29, Komomo attempts to say her goodbyes to Natsu, but she is unable to when she finds him conversing with her replacement employee. She runs away crying, and finds herself travelling to all the places that Natsu had taken her. Misturu and Natsu finally find her at the location of Komomo and Natsu's first date, where Komomo refuses to forgive Natsu, but gives him a chance if he can bring her "what she wants the most."
In the end, Komomo and Natsu each confess to each other, and Komomo leaves her house with her father's permission to live and work at Meli Melo.
