Do you have a little one that is always after your gadgets like your smartphone or ipad? I do! Both my kids always want to play, but I'm very hesitant knowing how much my gadgets are. Afterall, kids are not the most gentle with certain toys. Nowadays it seems that all kids (even some toddlers) are so advanced in their electronic toy skills.I’m sure most parents, when they get home, get their iPad tablets “hijacked” by their kids. Although there are some kid-friendly apps on the Apple AppStore, the iPad (and most other tablet PCs) are not kid-proof. The worst that can happen is a dropped (and damaged) iPad.Well. those worries may soon be over. Leapfrog, a company specializing in kid digital entertainment devices, just recently announced its newest product – The LeapPad, the tablet for kids. The prediction that 2011 was going to the Year of the Tablet PC has come out to be true in every sense. As many as 50 tablets were seen in 2011 alone and more are on the way as MWC ended its show. Now there is another tablet PC making quite a news.Tablet makers have begun to satisfy the needs of younger generation and Maddy Rowe of OSM reported about InnoPad- VTech’s 5” LCD Tablet PC specifically targeted at the young. The trend is continuing with the release of new LeapPad that is termed as “Child-friendly”!It is a common scene that many of parents having iPads have to refuse the kids natural desire to play on their iPads. The LeapPad is built to satisfy this need of our kids, all too eager to get into the world of Tablets. Think of this even as a tool to introduce the kids to learn more effectively about this modern gadget that is going to be part of their lives. Paul Lamkin of Pocket-Lint, commenting about LeapPad in his article, refers also to the camera in this device capable of video recording.Considering the educational and recreational benefits the device is designed for, how much would you like to invest for this device? On that note, the device is priced reasonably at less than $100, and is affordable. The makers of the LeapPad stress on the educational benefits the tablet is offering. So what can your child do with his own tablet? Play games Read stories and develop his/her reading skills Tons of educational apps It even has front and back cameras Share his creativity with friends (his/her age) onlineThe LeapPad device, http://leappadtablet.org/leappad-tablet-for-kids-review-leapfrog-leappad-tablet-explorer-the-best-ipad-for-children/ , designed for kids aged 4-9, takes learning to the next level with touch screen interaction and motion sensing technology. The LeapPad comes standard with four apps and has a library of over 1000 games available via software download or cartridge form. The LeapPad is also compatible with other LeapFrog game cartridges such as those designed for the Leapster Explorer and LeapFrog Explorer. Children interact with the LeapPad by using the touch screen, the stylus as well as by shaking and turning it, resulting in hours of fun and excitement. The reading comprehension apps on the http://leappadtablet.org/leappad-tablet-for-kids-review-leapfrog-leappad-tablet-explorer-the-best-ipad-for-children/ literally bring the characters to life for the kids while they are reading their favorite stories. Additional learning topics include mathematics and spelling games, which are designed to enhance the learning process. With games such as Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Worldwide Rescue, children are taught geography by travelling to locations all over the world.

Kids of all ages love tablets, but not every tablet is suitable for fingers covered in peanut butter and jelly. We're thinking the latest from LeapFrog would handle that situation without complaint and, with its chunky construction, should make it home undamaged after show and tell. It's the LeapPad Explorer, shipping this summer, a 5-inch color tablet will let kids draw, play games, and of course learn all about reading, writing, and arithmetic. There's also a built-in camera and, while we're guessing FaceTime support isn't likely to be coming in a future update, there is an animation studio app that will let kids have fun with whatever video they record.Targeted at children 4 and up, the new tablet will have more than 100 learning games and apps as well as an on-board camera and video recorder. LeapFrog is combining technology, an enhanced educational curriculum, and entertaining characters to keep kids engaged with its tablet. The look of the tablet mirrors that of adult-oriented tablets, but it is designed for little hands. With access to over 100 apps and growing the LeapPad Explorer covers every educational subject that you could ever need, from Maths to Science, Reading to Languages the LeapPad can do it all. With a built-in camera and video recorder this tablet allows you to take HD pictures and video which can then be easily edited so your children can create the most amazing images and films. What we also love about this, is that young children will find it so easy to use thanks to the addition of voice guided instructions. The built-in camera allows your kids to become the stars of their own stories and in addition apps like the Story Studio and Art Studio, which are both free, allow you to modify the pictures taken and drop them into storybooks if they want to, there really is so much to do with this amazing toy. You also get a whopping 2gb of free storage space to hold all your images and videos so space is never an issue and if you want to you can upload your kids creations to sites like Facebook and Youtube very easily so all your friends and family can see.Something else I love about this device is just how child friendly it really is, it comes with the guidence that it is suitable for kids from 4 years and up to around 9 or 10 and I would have to agree with this without doubt. Well look no further. LeapFrog launched their newest product: LeapPad. The ultimate ipad for your little one. Your kids will feel special having his/her own tablet. The LeapPad has its own built in camera and is durable enough for your little one. It features apps to inspire creativity. The games make learning and reading fun.I've been a loyal LeapFrog customer since having my first son. His favorites were the LeapFrog bus that helped his learn his ABCs as well as their songs. He later got the Leapster Explorer for Christmas and has brought it with him every he goes. It's a great little learner toy and educational. My younger one is also starting to love his Explorer and loves to feel like his older cousin who has a Nintendo DS. So if you're excited as my kids are, and finally us parents won't have to fight over our electronic toys.
