My Anime/Manga History and Preferences.
MY ANIME/MANGA HISTORY (wordy):
My very first anime would probably be Pokemon and Digimon. But back then I didn't know about anime, so I knew of them as 'cartoons' (which we all know is very different)
I grew up in another country (it wasn't an english speaking country) so I couldn't really understand what the characters were talking about, but I was happy enough to sit in front of the TV with my SketchPad in front of me. And while the episode went on I'd draw how the characters looked like. ^_^
At around age 12 (highschool time), I came back to where I am now (and where I can understand the language).
I met my first friend here and she was the one who introduced me to what anime and manga was. I was really happy knowing that the local tv at that time hosted a lot of animeshows. Among these were Rurouni Kenshin, Hunter X Hunter, Cowboy Bebop, Card Captor Sakura etc. Btw, it would be nice to note that around this time I haven't found the joy of the "internet" yet [XD], so since these shows were on TV, even if I did come home from school on time everyday just to watch the show, I can't guarantee that I haven't missed any of the episodes. ^^; (so for now they ain't on the list yet.)
So during those years I was introduced to a whole lot different genres of anime and gradually I got to know about manga as well (also, eventually, including the internet. XD). The first manga that I read was Kimi Shika Iranai, which I got introduced to from a friend. Since then I've been trying all types of manga I could get my hands on. XD
I remember back then that I didn't like animes like Cowboy Bebop and anime with small squinty eyes, and I even called them Western Type Anime. Lol. That was because I based my knowledge of anime according to Rurouni Kenshin, CCS etc. With the superdeformed and big eyes and stuff. (lol i also hated big boobs on anime women. XD) I very much disliked yaoi and stuff that "deviated from the norms" at that time. o.o;
But yah. After 10+ years of liking anime (and cartoons and kidstuffs) and manga, I can say that I can call myself and otaku/anime lover (term me and my friends used in H/S).
I'm probably not a very avid fan, seeing as to how I only have approximately 1 month spent on anime, but I still nevertheless enjoy it because I like art and in anime anything can be possible. As in, ANYTHING.
So what do I watch/read...?
If you read my anime history then you could probably tell that there was a lot of things I didn't like in certain anime.
But you can forget all about that now. XD
By now, I've tried every kind of anime/manga genre there was. Some of them I like and some of them I don't (but not so much)
The only thing is, I pick my anime/manga based on:
Random. XD
So I was updating the fave anime/manga/characters...
I wanted to add my anime crushes too~ But then I think that would've been a little morbid, since most of my anime crushes die. XD Is that weird or cruel? hahaha. lol.
~~love the new quote i got on the LSoA Tracker. XD
"You have the makings of an excellent psychopathic killer" Baka ki El Dogra (Level E)

The only thing is, I pick my anime/manga based on:
- Art/Art style
- Story
- "Interesting" factor (or if someone/a lot recommend them) (or if there's something 'unique')
~And a few more..~
- Bishounens
- No damsels in distress/Mary Sues. XD
Random. XD
