My View on NEO MAG
NEO MAG is just fucking dumb and the worst piece of shit about anime i have ever read, yeah sure it may cover asian culture and all other subjects well enough, but when it comes down to ANIME, it's just what the fuck NEO get your head out of Miyazaki's ass for 5 seconds.
I mean all they do is ass-rape the most popular anime in the limelight at the moment and ignore all of it's faults and give it like 4/5 or even a perfect score when it truly does not deserve it. Whilst a less popular but much better anime gets a low ranking score. I know this proably just sounds like a butt-hurt fan rant but i am being serious it is not. DEAD FUCKING SERIOUS!.
A point in example, Bleach, i remember NEO covered this for weeks before it came out then when it finnaly did it was welcomed to rave reviews by the magazine, 'very original concept, nice fight scenes and animation', NEO do some fucking researrch, a series that you slandered in another issue, Yu Yu Hakusho to be exact, was given a 2/5 which is fucking ridiculous for a start, but the fact is, Bleach ripped off YYH in the early stages and yet NEO just ignores this, did NEO mentioned Bleach was originally rejected from SJ for being too similar to YYH? NO! they never because that would be being too professional and actually researching their shit. The animation in bleach is just bright but not good, granted some fight scenes later on look nice but the good animation is far in between, the fight scenes in bleach are rarely fluid and mostly consist of polished still shots or repeated scenes, especially in the early stages, but obviously NEO doesn't see a problem with this as it is godlike apparently.
Enough about bleach though, let me just skip to a recent thing and this is all that needs to be said really, in the latest issue of NEO, they gave MAR 5/5 and gave a anime like ergo proxy and shagakun no shana a measely 2/5. All i am gonna ask is, have you seen the fucking state of MAR.
Thats enough however, draw your own conclusions, but in the end whether i sound like a whiny butt-hurt fan or not, my point is NEO MAG is the worst fucking thing i have ever read to do with anime.
