Old or New? part 1
Anime Relations: Ouran Koukou Host Club, Strawberry Panic, Clannad, Toradora!, Angel Beats!, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, Inu x Boku SS, Sword Art Online, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou
Well this is my first time blogging so here i go.
So the topic is about the good and bad sides of old and new animes.
So lets start with the old ones(or maybe you prefer more the word: old-school). So i think old ones were more extravagant and crazier than new ones, of course there are exceptions. The characters always got hit by a thunder or car and it was just part of the fun. Do you see those thing today? i don't. But i think that is a big slice of anime to be extravagant, because you don't see those kind on things in real life anyway.
Old animes had more difference in characters too, they had more colorful hair and more colorful personalities. One thing i dislike in old ones is that they didn't have enough drama and romance, and god i love those two when they are the ''one of a kind'' drama/romance. Example: Strawberry Panic and Ouran high school host club.
Old ones still have nostalgia in them so i can't explain it well, but they are just awesome in some ways ^_^.
So lets move to the new ones. What i like about the new ones is the new drawing/illustration styles, they are more accurate and detailed. But why do they have to put at least one ''moemoemoe'' character in every anime? Even when it wont fit/suit in the plot?? Sometimes i think some animes have hidden fanservice tag in them.. CONSPIRACY!, just kidding.
But moving to the good points. I like how they are brave enough to put real endings in the shows, unlike old ones. For example toradora, inu x boku SS, Sword art online or angel beats. they all end when they fall in love or it end dramatically. Those thing were pretty rare in old ones.
And ''talking'' animes have been increased dramatically compared to old ones. For example boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai, Danshi kokousei no nichijou. All they do is talk and tell jokes, i don't hate those of course i really like them. But where are the the animes with great adventures and comedy in same basket?
And sometimes it feels i can't find any good animes nowadays, feels like they don't but so much in thought in them anymore or maybe i just too picky...
And ''ecchiness'' have increased dramatically too past few years. It can be fun when its limited, but often its not..
Anyways these are just my opinions.
Anyway i really love old and new ones even if they have little differences from each others.
