Anime Relations: Odd Taxi
Lol I graduated highschool but who cares let's talk about anime
After that banger of last season I don’t think many people expected this season to be as good as it was.
Perhaps that was because I actually dropped bad anime that I knew would go nowhere but honestly there were a surprising amount of fantastic shows that seemingly showed up out of nowhere.

And going from my least to most favorite:

Eight-Six
I’ll just say that this is probably the most well-produced show this season. Art, animation, music, everything- especially the directing- is top-notch. But fuck is this show boring. The action is lame, but maybe that’s because I don’t care for robots fighting, as I'd much rather see humans throw hands. But more than anything it seemed like each episode started and ended at the same spot. The characters couldn’t do a single thing about their situation so it felt pointless. I guess it got slightly better toward the end when the overwhelming cast was reduced a lot, but they ended up dying anyway! So what was the point?
At least Lena is crazy hot. 3/10

Burning Kabaddi
On the completely opposite end of the spectrum, we have the worst production quality show this season. For a sports anime, there is like barely any animation. And production quality aside this is still a cheesy, edgy shounen. But I still had a bit of fun. The anime made Kabaddi actually seem interesting and some moments during the matches were actually exciting considering the animation. Still, it's a bottom-of-the-barrel sports anime that somehow has its moments. 4/10

Tokyo Revengers
So I read the manga already, and on first impression this adaptation seems lackluster. But even if the art is lame, the animation and music are pretty good, so I’m not complaining on that front. Still, I was never a huge fan of this series to begin with. Too many forgettable characters that the show expects me to care about and a wimpy protagonist I really don’t like. Like the anime made me realize just how much he cries ohmygod. 4/10

Kingdom 3rd Season
I really like the manga, and decided to watch just the 3rd season because the past two looked visually disgusting. After an entire year of hiatus, I’m here to say the anime is just, alright. Not offensive but not that good either. I think a good soundtrack and voice acting really brings a manga to life, but the anime is pretty lackluster on that front, nothing feels as exciting as the manga did. Still, this is arguably the best arc in the series, and lots of shit is yet to go down, so I’m not fully out of hope just yet. 5/10

Moriarty the Patriot 2nd Season
The 2nd season really felt like everything was coming together, with the endgame arc on the horizon. Cool good guys and bad guys were introduced, and everything seemed to be building up to Moriarty’s big plan. But seeing that the “final problem” arc would all be done in two episodes made me uneasy. So as I feared, the season concluded in a pretty disappointing way, with nothing really happening at all. Still, it was a fun ride, and maybe an interesting setup for another season. 6/10

Shadows House
In a similar vein, this was another really promising series that had a disappointing final arc. The world was super interesting. The family, the power system, the very concept of shadows- all of them felt fresh and unique. And it had just the right amount of shounen edge for me to enjoy. But the last arc just felt cheesy with a cartoonish villain. Even so, it’s got one of the most unique and interesting worlds I’ve seen in anime. 6/10

My Hero Academia 5th Season
It seemed pretty trash in the beginning but it’s turning back to the show I really enjoy. The score is surprisingly low, but I think MAL users are getting sick of MHA anyway, so I guess it’s not too shocking. Not much else to remark on, the good shounen is still a good shounen. 7/10

Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song
This is a solid anime. A solid original anime. Which is pretty insane because I’m pretty sure I had yet to see an anime original that I actually liked. An Interesting time travel story in an interesting sci-fi world with a pretty likable protagonist. The dialogue is charming, the story is full of twists and turns, and the fight scenes are, as expected of WIT, a blessing. My only complaint is that the ending felt a little anticlimactic, but in retrospect, there wasn’t much else it could’ve done. Big fan of short-haired Vivy tho. 7/10

Fruits Basket: The Final
Wow, this anime’s score just kept going up and up. And I kind of see why. It’s a good story that tied every possible loose end the fans could ever think of. It’s a more than satisfying conclusion to a beloved series. For me though, it was a bit cheesy. The stuff in the beginning of the season that focused on the problems of the zodiac family were really good, but as it focused more on the romance between Kyou and Tohru, characters that I was never a huge fan of in the first place, I had to roll my eyes in the sheer amount of shoujo emanating in the last few episodes. In the end though, Fruits Basket is still one of the few shoujo series I really respect, and it really is a shame to see it get bombed with 1s by FMAB fanboys. 7/10.

To Your Eternity
I heard the manga was good, and Brains Base typically excels in stories like this, so I had high expectations for this show. And it pretty much delivers. The first episode is one of the most interesting starts to anime I've seen, and the concept of an immortal being has me really excited about the possibilities. Most people say it’s really sad, but I never saw it that way. To me, it's more fascinating, seeing the kind of development Fushi goes through as we see him become more and more human, even if it’s because of tragic events. Given the hype and quality of the show, I’d say that if someone were to watch only one anime this season, it’d be this one. It’s good, really. 7/10.

Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro
I thought I would hate this… I thought it would be Uzaki all over again. But god. My god. Somehow, someway, I don’t know how, but I… I like it. 7/10

Odd Taxi
I didn’t follow this seasonally, but I decided to binge it in one sitting because of all the fuss about it being the best anime that nobody watched this season. And wow it’s good. I think this show is best experienced completely blind because whatever expectations you might've had before you heard anything about the show are exactly the kind that will be blown away as you start watching it. I’ll say at the very least that it was incredibly refreshing to see an anime so completely devoid of anime tropes. It really is a one-of-a-kind show. 8/10

My god look at how few “bad” anime I’ve seen this season compared to the others. I should really drop shows more often. But even if I didn’t drop anything, the sheer amount of 7+ anime is really impressive, even by last season’s standards. So dang was that a good season.

Anime Relations: Jujutsu Kaisen
2021 is here and with it the best season of anime, I think. I’d say it had more good shows than any other season, but as pretty much all the good shows were sequels, there was no awe of discovering a new gem. But I can’t complain. This season was pretty fun.

So let’s go over the anime I dropped first

Bottom Tier Tomozaki
It had a good premise, and by good, I mean trashy. But the enjoyable kind of trashy. It’s basically about getting a loser gamer who thinks life is unfair to be reintegrated into society by way of treating life like a video game to progress through.
Seems entertaining enough, I guess, but as you can expect watching a gamer with no conversation skills talking to girls was too much cringe for me.

Bungou Stray Dogs Wan
Yeah I thought I liked the Bungou Stray Dogs characters but this was just a pointless slice of life spinoff that really couldn’t go anywhere.

So I’m a Spider So What
This wasn’t that bad but a bit repetitive. The human side plot was somewhat interesting but the majority of the show is just Aoi Yuki talking to herself in her raspy voice for 20 minutes straight. As isekais go, probably slightly above average, but not my cup of tea.

And the main event, going from worse to best

Cells at Work Code Black
It seemed like an interesting premise- cells at work but the body is fucking dying all the time. But with no way for the cells in the body to create any change, it was very repetitive. It didn’t help that the goofy nature of cells at work as a premise clashed horribly with the serious tone this show was trying to take.
This is also the one of the few times where I skip the both the opening and ending because wow I hate them. 2/10

Kemono Jihen
I initially watched this because the manga is serialized in Jump SQ, which had titles I recognized but never read, so I don’t really know why I cared about the magazine in the first place.
Anyway, this is the least remarkable shounen I’ve ever seen. The characters are weird, and the plot itself was very uninteresting. I really should’ve dropped this but my tolerance for shounen is way too high. 3/10

The Promised Neverland Season 2
It’s not just salty manga readers, this show is exactly as bad as the score suggests. Which by the way, is fucking insane. From an 8.64 first season to a 5.86 second season, this has got to be the biggest score drop ever in the history of myanimelist.
Honestly though, the first 8 episodes were pretty alright, with episode 8 itself being genuinely good. But the last 3 episodes were so obviously rushed with a shitty villain and a shoehorned ending. It’s a confusing shame what happened to the anime, especially considering the manga author himself helped write it. 3/10

Re:Zero Season 2 Part 2
Yeah I feel asleep watching this multiple times, and I care so little about these characters and its world that I really can’t find much to say about this show. 3/10

Cells at Work!!
The charm of the first season has definitely worn off in this one, but it had some decent moments. I somewhat enjoyed the lactic acid bacteria arc, but that's pretty much all the good things I have to say about it. Everything else felt pretty repetitive and boring. 4/10

Sk8 The Infinity
Damn bro if you wanted to make the show gay just make the show gay.
Jokes aside, it had some really exciting skateboarding sequences where you can really feel the energy of skating down a hill at the speed of a car. But the plot itself was so incredibly cheesy, especially at the last half that I couldn’t really bring myself to like it. 4/10

That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2
Fuck me this title is long. And it’s gonna get longer with the addition of a “Part 2”. I thought the first season was mostly pretty meh with some good moments, and I’d say it's the same with this one. While the diplomacy and slice of life aspect still sucks balls, the war with the humans arc or whatever it's called was somewhat enjoyable, even if some parts still sucked.
Though episode 11 was genuinely very cool. 4/10

Wonder Egg Priority
This show is weird. The story is vague but intriguing, the characters are fun, and the artstyle and animation are straight up beautiful. But it didn’t really go anywhere, and didn’t really leave me wanting more. Apparently there’s a special airing in June to tie things up, but I’m skeptical. 5/10

Horimiya
I wrote some kind of review for the manga, so similar thoughts apply. But I will say the anime is better. Maybe it’s the pretty artstyle, or maybe the character’s voices make them feel more alive, or maybe because they cut out a lot of the baloney that I didn’t enjoy in the manga. Either way, a pleasant experience, even if I think the main couple is extremely lame. It’s a shame there won’t be any closure for the other characters though. 5/10

Beastars Season 2
I think my enjoyment of this series has definitely gone down, but still, a very fun season. I love the characters and the animation seriously makes me consider that CG could be the future of anime. But the plot about eating herbivores and what it means is pretty weird.
But holy shit the Yoasobi songs are absolute fire. 7/10

Jobless Reincarnation
Man, this show is good. But I kind of hate that. Because I want to say that this show is unforgivable because the protagonist is pretty much a pedophile. Like he tried to fuck a 13 year old girl when he’s mentally in his late 30s. Sickening.
And while it’s totally understandable to hate on this show because some scenes are horribly uncomfortable, those who say this is your average generic isekai are seriously missing something.
Because FUCK this show is good. The world is fleshed out, characters feel real, the story is intriguing, and the action sequences are beautiful. If my friend is correct, the pedophillia should’ve ended by the next season. In which case I’m praying to god, because this is honestly not just a top tier isekai, but a top tier anime. 7/10

Dr Stone Stone Wars
I really didn’t expect to enjoy this season as much as I did. When I read the manga, I thought the anime was just a worse version. But it has been a long time since then, and I'm happy to say that this season was really fun. While still pretty cheesy, it had some moments that I did not expect to get emotional over. 7/10

The Quintessential Quintuplets Season 2
I absolutely love that this show got good.
The first season was garbage, or at least that’s what I remember. The animation sucked, and everything was cringe.
But now… now I’ve ascended. For harem anime is now an exquisite wonder only the privileged know how to enjoy. Animation is clean, and Jesus Christ himself has descended from the heavens to bless this anime in the form of Nino.
Absolutely marvelous. 7/10

Attack on Titan “““““final””””” Season
I won’t deny the animation is worse, but damn is this season awesome. Any scene with the titans had my jaw floored, and the exposition while not my cup of tea was still intriguing. The sickass titan punching moments were made even more sickass with some of the most sickass soundtracks I’ve had the pleasure of hearing.
But also I absolutely despise how this is called the final season, and how we’re gonna get a final season part 2. Disgusting. Still, I’m super stoked for the REAL conclusion of this series. 8/10

Jujutsu Kaisen
It might be basic, but Jujutsu Kaisen has probably become one of my favorite anime of all time. The writing, while not creative, is incredibly solid, and the characters are of a similar vein. But what makes me love JJK are the fights, Mappa earning my infinite respect as they continuously floored my jaw with fights that are beautiful, intense, and straight up fun.
As shounen trash myself, JJK has appealed to every shounen boner in my body. No fillers, no fanservice, no bullshit, just straight-up fist-pumping fun. 9/10

So after comparing my scores from previous seasons this season is probably the best one. If I consider 7s and above to be ‘good’ anime, it’s barely even close. But as for wastes of time (3s and below) it’s the same amount as the rest.
But like I said before, I can’t complain. T’was a very good season.

Anime Relations: Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun
Yeah 2020 sucked so I'm not doing any superlatives but hey we got a new season.

I'm just gonna keep it super brief on the shows I'm watching.

Quintessential Quintuplets (double integral???) - Surprisingly pretty good

Beastars 2nd Season - Expectedly very good

Bungou Stray Dogs Wan - Meh but I like the cast of this series so it's stomachable

Dr. Stone Stone Wars - For some reason I thought it wouldn't be good but it's good

Cells at Work Code Black - meh, takes itself a bit too seriously

Cells at Work!! - not bad

Horimiya - (I read the manga) The adaptation is good, but I just don't like the source material.

Jujutsu Kaisen - ayyyyyyyy

Kemono Jihen - meh, the fox girl when she's a fox looks fucking stupid

Another season, another set of anime to watch. At least this season was markedly better, though that isn’t saying much.

Dropped Anime
So for some reason I was a dumbass last season and didn’t drop anything, even if the anime was Uzaki. But I am better now, for I have dropped 3 shows.

Sports Climbing Girls
I thought it would be hot, but this was way too shounen, even for me.

Noblesse
I am legitimately convinced that I’m not going to like any webtoons. This one was just so, so boring.

Higurashi Gou? Reboot?
Not entirely sure why I waited until 11 episodes to drop this. I guess it was because the arc it was in was insufferable compared to the other ones. Instead of the edgy horror I was sorta getting early on, I got a group of friends trying to save a sack of shit from abuse. Lame!

Love Live the 3rd installment
I didn’t technically drop this one, but I was watching this along with a friend. Along the way though, I kind of paid more attention to conversation rather than the actual show, so I didn’t know what the fuck was going on.
The only thing I can say about it is that the CG really came a long way. The dancing actually looks good. Not good in spite of the CG, but good because of it. Honestly super impressed.

The Main Event

I did a weird order last time, so I think this time I’ll go from my least to most favorite shows I watched this season.

The Day I Became a God
I thought this would be a cool drama slice of life story with a hint of fantasy. Something like AnoHana. Instead I got a bunch of what felt like filler episodes (that were honestly sometimes funny) and then a total trainwreck of a final act.
It wasn’t painfully bad, but impressively bad. The kind that makes you go, “Wooooow”.
Like I laughed my ass off when I saw Hina’s new mental state.
And for the love of god I never want to see Hanae Natsuki voice a protagonist ever again. Talented, sure, but fuck he’s EVERYWHERE.

Akudama Drive
This one was promising. Set in cyberpunk (is that the right word?) Japan, a group of the most dangerous criminals have to work together to perform an epic heist. Honestly sounds dope. And it was for the first few episodes. But as the story transitioned from performing a train robbery to saving two kids, it all started going downhill. I guess it just felt like it was doing too many things at once.
Pretty disappointing.

Major 2nd 2nd Season
(2nd Cour)
That’s a lot of 2nds lol. This season goes to show how much a bad half just completely negates the enjoyment you got from the first. Especially if you’re watching something weekly. The majority of my positive feelings for this season, hell, this entire series, is just gone.
No more interesting matches and team-building but instead lousy infighting and edgy rivals. When I saw the wholesome childhood friend become a total edgelord that brings out the edgy side of the protagonist…
I knew it was Major all over again.

Traveling Witch
Episodic series are a hit or miss. Just as an episode can be terrible while the next can be something special, an episodic anime as a whole can be just as varying in quality. And Traveling Witch was… okay. Only two episodes I can say were good. The first and the ninth. The rest were… okay. Elaina is a pretty entertaining protagonist though.

Tonikaku Kawaii
Sometimes cringe is good. I can laugh at cringe comedy. Sometimes. And boy is this anime cringe. A newly formed husband and wife try to do husband and wife things despite having just met. So as you might expect some parts were cringe-cute but others were cringe-AHHHH

Adachi and Shimamura
I swear to god this anime feels like I’m reading a greentext where anon has autism. And it’s honestly kind of funny. The whole show is Adachi being really weird and doing things that frankly seem alien to Shimamura, who for some reason just goes along with it. Hell, all of the characters in this anime don’t feel human. There’s a random girl who calls herself an alien for god’s sake!
I haven’t seen much shoujo ai but this was definitely entertaining, though probably for all the wrong reasons.

Fire Force 2nd Season
(2nd Cour)
Just as I thought Fire Force was getting good, it got “eh” again. Like I realized for a battle shounen I never once got excited about any fights. But still, pretty decent overall.
Also they played Inferno at the end which was pretty funny.

Haikyuu To the Top 2nd Season
Now we’re getting to the good stuff.
To start I should say the animation kinda sucked this season. Like I laughed at how bad Hinata looked at the climax of the match. But even so, this season was still pretty hype. It was just one match, but that was what I liked about the 3rd season, my favorite one. I wished Production IG didn’t spread itself too thin this season, but suffice to say, my buttcheeks were sufficiently clenched.
Also they played Imagination at the end which was pretty funny.

Moriarty the Patriot
Basically communist Deathote, with Moriarty trying to incite crime against the upper class which would plunge London into a chaotic revolution.
Jokes aside, all the characters are likable and their mind games are really entertaining. It had a lackluster ending but overall looking forward to the next season.

Sleepy Princess in a Demon Castle
My god I did not expect to like this as much as I did. You have a seemingly cute princess committing acts of atrocity to her monster kidnappers all to get a good night’s sleep, but also those same monster kidnappers and the psychopath princess warming up to each other.
All having me cracking a smile the entire time. The cutest and funniest anime this year next to Love is War for sure.

Jujutsu Kaisen
Remember when I said I was super stoked about Jujutsu Kaisen last season? Well, I’m glad to say that I’m still, super, super stoked about this show. And while I was skeptical about the first 3 episodes, it fucking popped off. Amazing action, cool-ass characters, a banging soundtrack, not to mention the OP and ED, and plot with just the right amount of edginess, this anime just has everything I can want from a battle shounen.
It doesn’t do anything new, but it just does everything so, so well.
My shounen trash brain is seriously considering this to be anime of the year.

Actually, I compared the scores I gave last season to this season and the difference isn’t really that high. So I have no idea why I think Fall was such a better season than the last.

Anime Relations: Horimiya
I guess I didn’t learn my lesson last time. You see, according to animeplus, one of my least favorite genres is romance. Which baffles me, because as a sad lonely weeb, I find myself more likely to watch/read something if it has a romance tag. Some of my favorite anime have a romance that I really dig. But the more I think about it, the more I realize that I like romance when it's a secondary part of the story, not the main focus.

I also tend to read something if my friends have read it. Even more so if they are currently reading it. Two of my friends were crazy about Kimi ni Todoke, so I read it. If you read my review of that, you know how that turned out for me.
And reading Horimiya gave me serious deja vu.

It feels really similar to Kimi ni Todoke. You have a main couple that get together relatively early and you see them act lovey-dovey. At the same time you see the main couple’s friends slowly form relationships with each other. And if there is one thing that really bores me, it’s the kind of couple that the story focuses on, a couple that can only act lovey-dovey on screen. No buildup, no entertaining chemistry, just straight to romance.

And some people really dig that kind of thing. A no-nonsense romance manga. But I don’t think that’s my kind of thing. The manga just felt really bland. I found myself rolling my eyes at some of the jokes and petty fights. The couples here were the kinds I’ve seen in so many other anime and manga that nothing felt new.

So the best part of the manga was when there wasn’t any romance at all. The one chapter I remember going “oh hey this is pretty good” was the chapter with Miyamura’s middle school bully warming up to him. Other chapters I thought were decent were ones developing Miyamura’s relationship with Sawada. I realize that’s because I’m a sucker for unusual but “wholesome” relationships. Too bad that makes up like 5% of the manga.

And now my friends are looking down on me for once again “not getting it”. My new Discord role is even lower than my previous “shit” role.
Maybe the anime can be more entertaining.

It’s been slightly more than a month but whatever. This thing is titled “Stuff I did” instead of anime/manga I watched/read because I did both!

Your Lie in April (anime)
I think this was the 3rd tv anime series I ever watched. I remember it being nice but kinda underwhelming. And years later I got to listen to the soundtrack and I remember having that shit on repeat. But anyway, I rewatched it recently because it had been so long and I wanted to rehear the soundtrack that I pretty much ignored in my first watch of it.

This is pretty much March Comes in Like a Lion but it smells like teen spirit. A depressed black-haired glasses boy, who is really only good at one thing and does that thing because he has nothing else he can do, meets a strong cheerful girl who changes how he looks at things and basically his life for the better happen to be the protagonists of an anime that have to do with a certain month. The similarities are pretty crazy when I thought about it for a second.

But still, I’d say this is an inferior version of March. Between the edgy monologues and the boring protagonist, April just didn’t have the vibe. But the most glaring flaw is Kaori herself. Having her be the central driver of the plot when she was basically absent for half the anime made the show feel kinda pointless. And she didn’t seem that supportive of the main character either. I really don’t know why Arima, or her 20,000 (holy shit) members that have her on her favorites list like her so much, especially if she was gone half the time. Honestly, she should’ve just died earlier, and then the show could've been more about moving on rather than someone who was clearly gonna die. But there are things I like about it.

I think of all the characters, I like Tsubaki a lot. Just a supportive, energetic, (but kinda tsundere), girl who clearly cares about her childhood friend kinda carried the show for me. Seeing her realize her feelings for Arima and what she does because of it was honestly pretty sweet. I also liked Arima’s childhood piano rivals. Seeing them laugh and warm up to each other was nice to watch, and it kinda demonstrates how this show could’ve been about moving on and making new friends. Shame you only see it for 5 minutes.

Like honestly I would’ve loved to see what the characters do after Kaori’s death.

A Certain Scientific Railgun (anime)
I watched this because a good buddy of mine has the second season pretty high up his favorites list. Though, it took me a while to watch it.

I don’t have nearly much to say about this one. Because it was kinda boring. At least at first. The slice of life portion got more fun as I grew to like the characters, which were pretty charming I have to say.
The more serious arcs weren’t bad. I especially liked the first Level Upper arc thing with the stripper teacher. She was a pretty interesting antagonist with an actual good motive. And seeing Saten’s and Uiharu’s relationship develop during this arc was pretty good.
The second arc though, was kinda eh. The villain was so comically evil it was just kinda dumb. But between fun characters and the interesting powers, I’ll definitely check out the second season… eventually.

Fire Punch (manga)
I love Chainsaw Man. Like I think about it all the time. Just when I stop thinking about it a new chapter comes out and instantly hypes me back up. So I wanted to see what the author’s previous work was.
And my god I initially dropped this manga.
The original premise is interesting. A man constantly in pain from an everburning flame, only kept alive by his regenerative powers sets out to kill the man who set himself along with his entire village on fire.
But when there was a guy who wanted to film two kids getting fucked by dogs I just like nope nope nope nope. Too edgy for me.

Well, I picked it back up again, and it was pretty interesting. The themes Fujimoto was trying to portray about immortality and finding a reason to live were really interesting. Togata’s character was particularly cool.
It is pretty similar to Chainsaw Man though. Both of their titles are the names of the heroes the public gave to the main characters. Both Fire Punch and Chainsaw Man are heroes to the public and seeing Agni and Denji deal with that responsibility is pretty interesting.
Everything else though, was really weird. The last arc especially. Not sure exactly how I feel about it.

Nisekoi (manga)
That same buddy also has Nisekoi pretty high up on his favorites list. That, and that I was in the mood for some trashy harem was why I read it.
And it was pretty good I have to say.

I’ve seen the anime already, and I remember liking it, so the stuff already adapted was still pretty good. I especially liked Shu’s arc with the teacher. Like it was way better than I remembered. Seeing a more serious side of an otherwise goofy character and Raku being a bro was probably my favorite part of the entire manga.

I was dreading the later chapters, as I heard that it gets pretty dumb with no progession. And I pretty much got what I was expecting. I mean, I get it. Most romance manga need something to fill in the time between the beginning and the characters getting together. Still, Marika’s arc was meh, but her whole character is pretty meh to be honest. And Yui just felt shoehorned into the story. Even Tsugumi, which I thought used to be my favorite had pretty repetitive fights and gadget shinanigens.
Onodera’s stuff wasn’t bad, but to be honest, I liked Haru and her development more for some reason. God, maybe I just like tsunderes.

Even so, the main plotline, the development between Raku and Chitoge, was really sweet. Those two just have good chemistry. Just seeing them hang out and slowly start having more and more fun with each other got me attached to the manga.



So the beginning and ending were pretty good, but the middle was a bumpy ride. I would’ve loved to see more of Shu and Ruri though.

Random One-shots (manga)
I don’t really know if I can get into one-shots. They’re nice but I just can’t get invested into them. At least that’s what I figured after reading all of these.
So I’ve read
Ao no Hako because I found a voice acted read-along on the Shonen Jump channel,
Tokidoki because it’s written by the Nisekoi author,
Henshin Ganbou, from a friend recommendation, and because it’s written by the Monogatari series author,
Shokugeki no Sanji, also from a friend recommendation, and because, c’mon Sanji from One Piece doing food wars?, and
Nisekoi Bangai-hen: Ticket because it’s like another cute Nisekoi chapter.

They all weren’t bad, but I’m gonna forget about them in a week.

Yay! More of my dumb thoughts. I might just make separate blog posts for one thing instead of a big one for a lot of things, since I’ll probably forget what I was gonna talk about if I wait too long.
And uh.. I think the only thing I can really recommend this month is Nisekoi so take that how you will.
