Death is NEVER can be a Joke IRL
Anime Relations: Hanasaku Iroha
Before Reading, this is totally an opinion. I'm not an expert in psychology or others. Sorry if I take this too seriously.
Wow watching listening to this anime, in episode 1 is bringing my emotion up and down really well, seriously. Watching Tsurugi Minko (TM) in 3 episodes, I really glad these characters have developed on that annoying jokes. Seriously, if this death jokes more than 3 episodes this character will get worse and worse IMO.
Talk about jokes, asking someone to be dead is never a good one and will never be a good one. TM yelling at Ohana to death every single time on those 2 episodes, luckily in episode 3 it all changes. Really glad that Ohana's character is always positive and active. If Ohana's character is always thinking negatively she has already dead tbh, probably due to suicide. Maybe the simple way to describe this is, imagine having a toxic parent yelling at you every single time for every matter, this will make the child think negatively and more negatively as the time goes. This anime only have 2 episodes where TM yelling to die which is 1/12 of all the episode. Back to toxic parents, if parents yelling at you every single for 1/12 of your life (avg human life are 70, so 6 (70/12=5.84) years) imagine what will you do? if your parents ask to this every single time for every matter. Maybe you will have a mental issue by now. This only explains how a harsh word will affect a human as time goes.
Back to Death jokes. Sometimes death can be funny and people will laugh at it. Have you ever laughed or clapped your hand in someone's death situation? If your answer is NO, I really doubt it. Have you ever seen when magicians throw daggers at their living target during the magic performance? What did you do when watching that? You're Happy, right? You never think how to be the target right? Well, That's what I say when Death jokes can be exciting for another person. If you realize by now, I suggest you never laugh again at this situation again, so you can appreciate other lives as well.
To sum it up, please no matter how angry, hateful, or how chuuni are you. Please never yell to another person to die. Besides, just like Ohana said, "What if that person is really dead next time?" You will most likely regret what you always said that time.

Shokuryou Jinrui, Mangaka Changes of Heart Through Time
Just an opinion while reading and finishing this manga
Honestly, I really expect something great since its published by Kodansha and yes it is. Manga art is amazing, a story in the early chapter might get you hooked too. It's just like another TPN while reading the early chapters. I just can't wait for the next chapters while reading it.
That's what I thought at first. But what I think is different from what mangaka's thinking. It's just not my normal kind of Manga. It feels weird at some point. Here's something that makes me maybe kind of dislike this manga.
First, Ie photography manipulation skill let's short it for PM, for further context. When Ie introduces this skill to Natsume and Yamabiki he and Kazu are allowed to join them in order to find a route to escape this labyrinth. Please remember that Ie is allowed because of this PM skill, if Ie doesn't have that skill, then he is not allowed to follow the NatYama party. Just remember this simple deduction from early chapters. Do you how many Ie use PM skills? you might guess it if the task is to escape this labyrinth then he will often use his skill and become a core skill, really needed like using merlin in meme buster (FGO). The reality is Ie NEVER use this skill again, until the end of the chapter. It's kinda annoying to me why does Ie still allow to join the NatYama part despite him never using this skill again? Its like the mangaka's has a change of heart in the middle of the story and change the direction of the story. A bit spoiler, the story comes from escaping labyrinth (like TPN) to a revenge story.
Well change the end task of the story is one of the most I hate, it's like remaking everything that makes from early chapters and forces readers to understand what the mangaka's want during mangaka's change of heart. If that is the case why don't just make it from the start instead of changing every single thing that happens in early chapters, Idk what happen in mangaka's mind during making early chapters, or maybe this is because mangaka's editor is changing and resulting change the flow of the story.
Another problem that I have is Ie's background is never revealed, there is no story about Ie's background, dunno why this happens maybe mangaka's have a plan to make this in another sequel? I mean look at other characters each of them has a background story and what makes it worse the one who has a background story dies in the end. If death characters have a background story then why a living can't get a single clue about it. Even Kazu has a very short story like "my grandparent died from heating stroke". That alone is enough tbh for making a background story. But Ie, never have a single one (or maybe I miss it?).
