I've always loved the RomCom/Slice of life (SoL) genre. It's cute, easy to watch, cheesy, humerous and all around feel good genre.

But I've always dipped in and out of it too. Watched/Read one or two then go onto a more shounen type of genre - often binge watching 50+ episodes if I could (One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, FMA:Brotherhood etc

But recently, I've been reading TONS of them. I bought the Manga Reader app for my tablet (only £2-3/$5) and you get to download an unbelievable amount of manga to your tablet/phone to read anywhere! And after reading Ao Haru Ride and Yamada-Kun and the 7 witches (I know that of if more fantasy/supernatural than the typical Romantic SoL), I then moved onto Switch Girl, Strobe Edge, L-DK, Heroine Shikkaku, Hirunaka no Ryuusei (Daytime Shooting Star), Namaikizakari, ReRe Hello and probably some more. This is all in a very short space of time. I binge read.

Others I have seen/read consist of: Lovely Complex, Fruits Basket, Peach Girl, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Zero no Tsukaima, Full Moon Wo, Bokura Ga Ita, Isshukan Friends, Kotoura-sa, Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama, Ouran Host Club, Degenki Daisy and again, probably more.

I write this, mainly to help myself (and others?) to talk in depth about the genre and the different manga/anime out there that anyone who enjoys this genre would enjoy. Compare ones to each other, talk about similarities, differences - discussion in general.

I dont expect this to work, this blog will probably stay here and never be read - it's basically just a list. But I wanted to get it all down on paper... erm, website.

Hopefully something will come of this though :)
