I am a university student, currently studying somewhere south of England :P
I am half Armenian, half Cypriot (if anyone cares)
I have only been addicted to anime the past few years, although i used to watch anything that came on the TV when i was younger. Most i guess used to be cartoons, since my parents tell me i was in front of the TV since i was 1 year old!
My fave back then were Sailormoon and Dragonball since its the only anime showed in Cyprus back then, the catroons were not that good as anyone might guess :P
I am really into a wide variety of animation, my fave being fantasy and adventure, including supernatural,paranormal, magic with some action. But almost always i want my anime to have some type of humor or comedy in it. (I love to laugh) :P
Anime is amazing as anything can happen, unlike films and such where not everything is possible, as it costs :( (Its easier to have anything happening in anime)
Recently i seem to have moved away from the slice of life type of anime, and i am back to wanting some more action with some comedy involved. Maybe some killings and such as well, basicaly nothing too bothersome (except for Code Geass)
Lets see then... i used to be a gamer, although currently i am more lightly into it.
I used to be more into strategy games with some shooting, i played a lot of General, Zero Hour and Warcraft 3 + Frozen Throne! As well as shooting games with teammates coordination like Battlefield 2142 and a bit of Counter Strike...
Of course RPG's and MMORPG's are not out of the question for me, as i've played my fare share, including Oblivion and i own Guild Wars as well!
Lately I have been playing some Neverwinter Nights (first one, i prefer it) as well as Mount and Blade <--- I highly recommend, its still in production, but you can still get the whole game, want details about the game, message me!

The maintheme/thing in Lucky Star are ALL the references they make, being about everyday life, gaming, anime, etc.
If you know Japanese culture, even a bit, you will understand what is going on, if you dont know anything there is no point watching as you will not be able to pick up an average number of the jokes.
The other jokes revolve around references to VARIOUS other animes, ranging from posters, to comic lines, to cosplaying or even ringtones from those anime...

Other stuff include bands/music from Japan, most of them are from anime as well which i was able to recognize.
They even include randomness like: Harry Potter or Timotei (the shampoo) that was funny, they even go to watch SAW III :P
Mostly though they used A LOT OF Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu in there, including their dancing sequence, ring tones, karaoke, posters, cosplaying, etc
And a lot of Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu, you can see bonta-kun everywhere :P
As the title suggest, i will try and write down all the references that I recognise in Lucky Star, so please is anyone knows anything that i missed, please comment or send me a message and it will be add here!
Lets see now...
I really wanted to see FLCL because it is so highly rated and its very popular... even though i hear its really random and only had 6 episodes.
After watching it, i found out that no other anime is as random or as fuc*ed up as FLCL or how they call it in the anime Fooly Cooly...
When i thought it could not get any weirder than stuff coming out of a boy's forehead, i was wrong, although sometimes i thought the main theme of this anime is the main character's forehead, and what else can come out of it :P
I have to say, i was always curious to see what comes out of it...
This anime was greatly random, but funny at the same time... I have to say that, i could not stop laughing... ;P
A new bar is set at RANDOM anime with FLCL!
P.S. I still dont know what Fooly Cooly means, no matter how many times it was used... :(
Currently at episode 11 of School Days, before i watch episode 12, i wanted to mention here, that i wish half the characters at least stab each other to death! THAT is how messed up that anime is!!!!!
EDIT: Finished School Days -> I will not put spoiler, i will just say what everyone else says... its FUCKED UP, Please, please do not watch it....
My stomach is not feeling well... Please stay away from School Days!
P.S. I am still giving it an 8!!! Dont know why... I must be mental...
EDIT: After reading what i said above again... I think you should watch it, but understand, what i said above were my actual thoughts on the anime.. i still feel very very weird about it!!!
