Anime Relations: One Punch Man

If I died tomorrow no one know would know that I have complicated opinions about Japanese media.

One Punch Man: It's a single gag that doesn't hold up the show, and is just a generic shounen. A perfect example of people misconstruing parody or "deconstruction" (a word loaded with pretension in the anime community). Sure it makes fun of shounen but it also a classically made, very safe, and very predicable and boring work. I really like the last few seconds of the OP though, and pretending to like One Punch Man is funnier than actually enjoying it in my book.

Non Non Biyori Repeat: I think Ren has a special need or something. Or maybe the author is just exercising their frustrations through a very young girl. She's clearly supposed to be the mouthpiece for comedy so it makes her feel unnatural. I appreciate the lack of sexuality in the show but it between the long stretches of scenery and the adults that are dumber than children it's hard to find any reality here. It doesn't feel human at all. It feels like anime. I like anime that can do both... Nano.RIPE is unbearable in this OP.

you fucking blew it... screw this unfunny pathetically depressing farcical comedy. I hope no one like that sad fuck main character exists in real life. I liked the idea of looking at a character with no redeeming social traits but like damn, it doesn't mean make a static character traipse around like a buffoon for 12 episodes doing the same otaku bait shit. fuck
2. Shingeki no Kyojin
it was alright but like the pacing and recaps belittled me. It was an action anime that was fucking STRETCHED THIN. There was more content to adapt so why didn't they just get as far as they could or stop short? Also the choppy and linear way the anime is presented as opposed to the more intelligent manga makes this fucking show one for the kiddies. the manga is aware that there are no characters, but the anime really has something to prove because the characters are focused on heavily and they come across as so fucking one dimensional. fuck you mikasa you're the worst character of the year. also fuck you annie what the fuck?? an anime with no explanations and a bunch of stupid questions where the final mystery will be solved with the first plot device. you think the audience will just forget about that fucking key but we won't no matter how many shitty side plots and extra characters you crucify in the process

RICK is amazingly kakwei in every way, so much that he has his own cheer squad that follows him around while he does bread related things. You know who else has a cheer squad? Gary Oak has a cheer squad.
