Anime Relations: Shingeki no Kyojin

I'm pretty sure that most of you have heard about the Attack on Titan live action movies. I wanted to make a entry on my thoughts about this, but please bear in mind that this is just my own personal opinion. I'll keep the comments options enabled, but if anyone starts moaning that my opinion is wrong, I'll disable them.

Okay, so when this was announced I was pretty excited yet skeptical as what to think of it. Since it was a Japanese production I've got to admit that did restore my faith in the nagging voice at the back of my mind saying that it was going to be ruined. I remained with an open mind.

When I saw the cast that Yoshihiro Sato picked, I've gotta say that I'm pretty dissapointed. The characters don't really resemble those in the anime. Pretty much the closest one is Hange. However,the article said that he did not pay attention to whether the characters resembled those in the anime. Instead, he had discussions with Hajme Isayama and he picked out actors who could play "the spirits". Fair play. I looked further at the cast list. Seriously. SERIOUSLY. What about these new characters who have just been put in but have absolutely NOTHING to do with the original series. Yes I could understand the fact that he wanted to put these characters in just for the film, but it just seems like there's too many. It just doesn't really feel right. I didn't like the fact they changed the names for some of the characters either. And what about Marco?? Where's Marco?!

The release for part one is August and part two is in September (wow,this is gonna be a nice birthday treat). Either they're gonna mess this up or it's gonna be a 'very loosely based off thing. But for now all we gotta do is wait for more news and the movie to come out.

I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting much lately! I missed World Otaku Day which sucked! :( I'm sorry.

Anime Relations: Shingeki no Kyojin, Noragami

After dropping Noragami because I lost interest in it, I'm in seven episodes in of re-watching Attack on Titan. Ahhhhh! What a good way to spend my after-school nights! Regarding Attack on Titan, I've accidentally read a lot of spoilers (regarding the ongoing manga). THEY'RE EVERYWHERE! I cannot escape! My friends (who have never seen an anime series before) constantly ask about the show and about the spoilers so they don't have to watch it, constantly bug me for them. I refuse to! I can't say that I'm a completely spoiler-free person, but I try to keep them to a minimum so I don't spoil them completely. But when you're on Tumblr (or in my case Pinterest), you just can't escape from them!

If you've read my previous post, you already know that I have an Attack on Titan bag, right? Well, people have noticed that I have it and this one girl has given the nickname of 'Girl With the Awesome Bag' or 'Attack on Titan Girl'.

Anime Relations: Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai, Shingeki no Kyojin

It seems kind of stupid, but when I see anyone with anime merchandise when I'm out and about, it makes me feel really happy! I'm glad that there are people out there who are proud to say they like a certain show, book, etc. I was in town and I saw a few people with the exact same Attack on Titan that I have myself*. When I was on my way to HMV, I saw this guy collecting for charity with that bag! I may not know that guy personally (and I literally only said to him "I like your bag!"), but it feels like we've made a connection. It also makes me feel happy that I'm not the only one who likes anime in my local area! And for another reason as well: they're not afraid to show their pride! Always be proud of who you are!

Currently, I'm watching 'The World God Only Knows'.

Anime Relations: Another, Brothers Conflict, Shingeki no Kyojin, Diabolik Lovers

Yay! It's finally Friday! I was desperately waiting for it in last period! I was rocking the laptop on Google Gravity most of the time I was so bored. Time went pretty quickly after that.

I finally got round to watching Another on Hallowe'en, watching more of Attack on Titan and managing to finish Diabolik Lovers. I guess I've been procrastinating a lot since I finally got round to finish video editing, so it feels like I've already achieveed something.

Regarding watching Diabolik Lovers, this girl was talking about how good it was when I was looking in the LRC/library. After the longest 180 minutes of my life, it was OVER! I literally about jump out of my computer chair after it had finished. I was planning to watch the OVA, but I just couldn't bring myself to watch it. Yeah, you can tell I didn't enjoy it very much! If you were wondering, I gave it a score of 1 when I logged it on here today. I'm finishing Brothers Conflict in an attempt to get familiarize myself with the romance genre because I've never really watched the romance drama genre, so I thought that I'd give a go. Do you know if there are any good romance drama series. Please comment and let me know!

Anime Relations: Ao no Exorcist, Another, Shingeki no Kyojin, Noragami

If you've been following my updates, you can tell that I haven't been watching a lot lately, largely to do with the fact that I've been helping my friend set up some sort of review blog.

I've been thinking about my costume and bringing myself to study for a science exam and do my project for science. Other than helping me friend set up his review site, I haven't really done much of it yet since I've been wasting my time listening to Babymetal and reading pastas on Creepypasta. Hopefully, I'll get them done soon.

I ordered Another and Attack on Titan part two and they arrived yesterday. I'll finish Blue Exorcist soon. After those anime series, I'm onto watching something short like Noragami.
