Anime Relations: Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu

So this blog is going to be dedicated to the anime I watch and manga that I read. I am going to start off by blaming my friend Daniel for making me like anime enough to do this. I was a normal 90's kid so I had grown up with stuff like Dragon Ball, Gundam Wing, and essentially anything that had shown up on Toonami(damn how I miss Toonami). However, I never really saw myself making the transition to someone that would go out of their way to watch anime: researching new series, looking for streaming sites, starting up a manga series(90% of why I still go to bookstores), or even wanting to attend an anime convention. Then, Daniel wanted me to watch "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya." I enjoyed it, nowhere near as much as he did, but it was still very good. After that I started watching more series, but it took a while for me to branch off to go after series that were not just suggested to me. It took some time, but Daniel took a hiatus from anime and I started having to get into stuff on my own. Things went well and I appreciated the fact that story writing quality for anime was far superior to things most people my age were watching. Anyways, I got really into just trying out a pretty broad spectrum of series including quite a bit of shojou. Thus, now that Daniel is back from his hiatus, he is taking suggestions from me. In short, I blame Daniel for what this site tells me is days spent looking at a computer screen and endless amounts of productivity wasted. Thanks bro.
