To everyone that has stayed on the internet for the last ten years, you might have read this headline on animenewsnetwork:

https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-05-04/new-york-lists-media-blasters-as-dissolved-as-of-april-2011

What was discovered as the cause of that incident was that one of the competiters of MB had illegally filed a dissolvement filing to the Secretary of State against their will without notice in an attempt to destroy competition and get away with it without liability. Funimation might have been one of them.

Since the incident, Media Blasters has quietly been struggling, losing many of their catalogues and stopped doing productions. However it still never went out of business, it managed to legally thrive after 2012, slowly but maturely and in 2015 they brought back hentai dubbing while in 2020, they are fully back to the public and able to bring back everything that they lost ever since. Today, they were as active as they were in their peak in the 2000s. Hentai dubs are the strongest task for the company, because hentai was the first material they released in 1997 and currently remains their primary genre. Additionally, they were able to expand to purchasing and streaming their titles on their official websites.

While actual non-hentai dub production is currently inactive for Media Blasters, at least they were brought up from their near fatal blows.

So to everyone that still believe for the entire decade from this fake story, you need to check your glasses or brain because reality/truth hurts but for the better. And whomever attempted to take Media Blasters down permanent to own the industry should be sued and taken to justice.
