Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
After 5 years, I'm finally at peace with a Fullmetal Alchemist ending that doesn't suck ass.

Don't get me wrong, I do prefer Brotherhood to the 2003 series. :)

Oh, I haven't read the manga either, other than the first chapter that was in a Viz sampler I read a while ago. I don't know. The new one just felt like it had a lot more substance to it. Especially after they went to the North. I just began to feel a lot more emotion from the series and its characters.

I haven't read the manga, so I can't really comment on that. As far as good storytelling goes, the first one was excellent as well. It's just the ending that has been a blotch on my soul ever since. And that fucking movie just made it 1000x worse.

Glad you liked it. I liked it so much more than the first anime. It confuses the crap out of me whenever I see people rating the old one higher than Brotherhood. The first anime just felt off to me in places.
