Welcome back. Last time I did a kuudere honor blade. Now we’re covering a cute little sister.

Body

Hair
Satsuki has pink hair. The shade is pretty nice, but the hairstyle is the problem. She has a sidetail and I dislike those, simply put. The length isn’t too bad and the ribbon on the other side brings some cute balance that helps, but honestly anything else would look better. Except short hair. Plus with her pink hair it reminds me from Signum and makes me feel bad. I think she gets shown with hair down very rarely, but not enough to help here. Her past life self does look slightly different, but not much. Overall not terrible but not the best start.

Eyes
Satsuki has purple eyes. The hue is more blue than red sadly, but definitely purple. They look good with her hair thankfully and are rather nice. Shame for the tareme shape due to her cute imouto part but otherwise she looks fairly solid.

Build
Satsuki does well. She bizarrely lacks measurements because this is one of the few light novels without even height and weight given. She has a nice slender loli body but not too loli and looks really great overall. She also gets to show it off several times, with beach episodes and clothes changing scenes and tight clothes and the like. The only flaw is her dumb DFC shame even though real girls know small breasts are better. That aside Satsuki is a sexy imouto type girl.

Butt
Satsuki shows ass occasionally. The problem is that the show is rather mamocentric, meaning it feels like they’re doing the awful “show ass because she has small breasts” horrible tactic. Least this sure beats praising male ass like a certain sick on the head meganekko does. Keep that on shows aimed at women and have pretty girls shows praise pretty girl ass only.
Score: 5.5

Clothes
Satsuki has nice clothes. She defaults to the school uniform, which is a white and black dress she improves with black thighhighs. Her battle costume is a black leotard with sleeves and long boots and looks great, easily her best costume. She also wears a frilly dress in her past life flashbacks. The only problem is aside from that she only has bikinis and underwear, thus lacking variety. Shame for the base was good.

Mind

Personality
Satsuki was pretty cool. She’s basically the reincarnation of a princess named Sarasha but instead of being a lesbian had a crush on her older brother Fraga who owned the streets. She has now reborn into this world and still loves Moroha since he’s the reincarnation of her older brother. Most original excuse to make it not really incest ever. For the sake of meeting her brother she joins the typical battle academy since that was all the rage a few years ago. There they face enemies together, included Satsuki’s biggest enemy: the awful Shizuno and rival love interest.

But that was another blog that never happened. Satsuki is relatively friendly and nice, but also serious and a hard worker. She’s also a good cook, unlike lame tsundere heroines. Much like the girl from last week Satsuki fights with a sword named Acieal and light magic, since in her previous life she was a sword priestess or something like that. She also detects Metaphysicals which are the monsters from this show. Surprisingly despite her petite size she’s considered a tank type, which sounds great. She also has a lot of hidden power, which apparently gets shown in newer novels but the anime reaches nowhere near that. Overall while not amazing Satsuki hits well my weak points and has a solid score, albeit not a stellar one.

Reception
Satsuki does worst here. Despite being the main heroine the anime trolls her over and over from screentime. She barely has focus and even the rare episodes about her still go outta their way and give the dull Shizuno shipping and focus while the opposite never happens. And yet Shizuno still has the gall to claim she’s jealous of all the time Satsuki and Moroha spend together. Hypocrites are the absolute worst. She also gets little fanservice because Japan surely does not favor flat girls. Finally she’s far less popular than Shizuno especially among Western fans that hate incest blindly despite hailing traps and considering them better than sex. The only saving grace is that apparently the original novels are slightly fairer with screentime, but even that won’t spare the poor girl.

The same way people call “ass” swearing and not a beautiful word. When talking about females obviously.

Libido
Satsuki does well here. She calls Moroha the adorable “niisama” and has imouto appeal despite not being a little sister now. That said she did love him when they were siblings. This could score even better but as said before she gets screwed out on shipping moments compared with Shizuno the cow witch. That said she has enough to get away with a good score.

Age
Satsuki is typical here. Starts on the first year and moves into the second, that means 15-16 and maybe 17 years now, lacks a specific birthday, all the usual deal. Like said this is a very generic show.

Voice
Ayana Taketatsu always sounds cute. And unlike her most popular role this little sister is actually cute. Also kinda sucks the poor girl is often stuck doing fat cows and wasting her adorable loli voice.
