Anime Relations: Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED, Bleach
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed (25 – 29) [Re-watch]
Some pretty intense episodes and more to come base on what I remember. These episodes were top notch quality safe for the recap frenzy that happened. We’re approaching the turning point in the series that brings everything to an all new level.

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed (30 – 38) [Re-watch]
This is where things get epic and awesome. The plot, now set up for over 30 episodes, really kicks in. Psychological developments move to entirely new grounds in both dark and hopeful paths in what is increasingly becoming an interesting study of war-psychology and the battles are heating up to new heights as the themes are also bearing fruits. Now the underlying elements of anarchy, authoritarianism and corrupt democracy are coming together and into the open.
Its moment like these I remember why I love this series and I think it was the perfect time to watch it with the HD Remaster and, more than likely, the movies coming out on physical media in 2018.

Bleach (152 – 160) [Re-watch]
We’re finally done with the Privarone Espada. Rukia’s fight with Espada #9 was decent but nothing to write home about and Renji’s fight with Espada #8 doesn’t really amount to anything exciting until when Mayuri shows up if I remember. Still, these episodes managed to pull themselves together gracefully in spite of rather weak material. I’m at least looking forward to the upcoming confrontations on Ichigo’s side of the battle.

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed (39 – 44) [Re-watch]
Again, some pretty eventful episodes. The epic and emotional battle of Orb, important realizations about family lineage, the formation of the 3 Ships’ Alliance… These episodes deliver, there’s no doubt of that. The gathering of Earth forces at the Moon, Rau’s so called “final door” and the cliffhanger on which the last episode ended also promise a pretty intense conclusion; on which it delivers splendidly, if I remember correctly.

I also have to say I like how the 3 Ships’ Alliance

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed (45 – 50) [Re-watch]
A truly epic finale for the first half of the story. Intense and heavy in action but not over-saturated. Through the action, which is itself well-choreographed and exciting, the series develops the characters’ psychology, advances the plot and brings the themes to a clause in a progressive, detailed and precise manner. It’s a perfectly executed epic conclusion to an epic tale of war and tragedy.

I’m beginning Destiny today and looking forward to it.
