Hair
Masane has brown hair. Sadly it’s not too long, only reaching barely past her shoulders tops. Furthermore her hair lacks volume meaning was hard noticing it behind her neck too. The dark brown color helps though, and the big ahoge is kinda cute. She has very dull bangs though. Thankfully the Witchblade forms are better for this. The original one has red hair which looks good and grew longer too with more volume, making it much better. The ahoge gets bigger too. The final form has light grey hair which is the worst but not bad either, and basically is even longer and with even more volume along even bigger ahoge too. Overall the variety and stuff is nice and helps having a good score.

Eyes
Masane has brown eyes. These are great and go with her hair really well. She also has tsurime albeit a slight case, which helps for this too. The transformed Witchblade forms have golden eyes for the first one and red for the second, and normally these would be even better. Sadly both forms are stuck with black sclera and that really sucks, bringing down the appeal easily. That said the effort for variety was nice and doesn’t much down much the regular eyes, making this still helpful. That and she often has partially closed eyes when transformed for that looks nice. Also needs glasses.

Masane is complicated here. She has measurements, but they are crappy. The height is 165cm meaning average and unknown weight, fair for now. The problem is her lame 98/59/90 three sizes for these are just horrendous and mamocentric. Sure the show does worse with Shiori and her beyond awful 103/56/86 utter Taurosmulch but still. Worse enough Masane gets called Masamune for said horrible bust size and that makes things even worse. Fortunately the actual fanservice and the like does well enough, not focusing too much on her chest and showing her ass plenty. She also looks nice still which never hurts, with great legs and a slender stomach. Guess that you could do much worse, but she could still improve.

Butt
Masane gets saved here. Not only her ass looks great but when transformed it’s always exposed, aside from the TV version that gave her instead black thighs sorta. Said ass even jiggles once and looks fantastic too. She also gets several shots of her ass thanks to her jeans preference and aforementioned exposure. Even official art and fanart has nice bits. Really the only problem is her ass got sadly considered second banana to her chest and that kinda sucks. Otherwise she’s really great.

She actually wears several costumes and aside from her dress all have pants. More girls should wear pants. However what makes this section really good is something else, namely her transformed outfits. Mostly because they look cool and are nice enough to show ass prominently, always welcome. Note the TV version censored them adding a bodysuit sorta, though that has its own appeal too. Overall fairly solid aside lacking sexy cosplays.

Personality
Masane was cool. She’s the bearer of the Witchblade which basically lets her transform and kick ass, though she loses control. She got this power in an accident six years before the story began that left most from Toukyou ruined pretty badly. After the accident she was holding a baby girl that became her daughter Rihoko and basically the reason Masane fights for. However they are not really mother and daughter by blood but their love is still the real deal. She’s not even named Masane Amaha but rather Yasuko Ohara for more twisting goodness. Even then she loves her daughter and fights and fights against the X-cons and the Cloneblades for her sake always.
Now for the actual personality part. Masane was really cute, being clumsy and silly but still loving and caring. Rihoko is just 6 and she’s the reliable one that cooks and does housework. But this sweet attitude changes when Masane transforms since she becomes violent and destructive, though not in a rampaging way but more in a vicious way. She was always entertaining and made the series nice and enjoyable. She might not stand out much but there wasn’t anything wrong with her for sure.

Reception
Masane does very well. While now she’s rather forgotten at the time she seemed fairly popular, and like most poster girls she hogs most of the fanart. Shame for fans of the other girls like usual but still cool seeing a mother this popular.
