Welcome back. Last time we did a water goddess that goes commando. Now we’re going to have a very special blog.

Nothing like that! I mean this is the 200th blog made.

These don’t count actually. Remember plotwise they’re in the negatives.

Yes. And it’s a good thing I changed to Wednesdays because otherwise this month would have a blog less and the villain would’ve stolen the thing.

: That sounds bad.

Indeed!

This time we’re covering a loli with my favorite voice actress that gets unfairly hated!

: Meaning lots of praise and ranting. Sounds enticing!

Body

Hair
Mine has pink hair. And pink everything else, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves with things. She has her hair up in lovely twintails, the right one with a scrunchie and the left with a ribbon for great plot reasons. The twintails are pretty long, and when rarely shown down her hair looks really long. Not a bad thing obviously. About the only issue she has is her bangs are three big bangs since huge bangs are the best. Then again she uses a big gun, big bangs are to be expected. Jokes aside her hair isn’t too bad all things considered, could be better but still beats most.

Eyes
Mine has pink eyes. Pink hair is nice but pink eyes are even better. The specific shade changes between manga and anime, with the anime being darker and closer to purple while the manga looks very pink like expected. She also has tsurime with looks great and fits her personality well. Sadly she never wears glasses, which is maybe good since the series hates meganekkos. However during battle sometimes will don a scouter for better aiming. Too bad it never explodes when she faces Esdeath or another overwhelmingly strong enemy. Still pretty nice.

Build
Mine does pretty well here. She actually has measurements for once! Height is 155cm which is pretty great, but there’s no weight oddly enough. Three sizes are 77/53/78 and while her small chest does help having the smallest ass in the show kinda sucks. Also note all the girls with measurements are bottom heavy minus Leone the bustiest girl because mamocentrism bias. That aside Mine has fair and nice looks, being slender and lovely but still having nice legs and looking just plain lovely. The only reason she doesn’t get a perfect score is her flat chest complex and the aforementioned ass troubles though otherwise she looks good.

Butt
Mine barely shows her ass sadly. Even worse, when she does it’s nothing special. Shame she’s one of the few exceptions to the rule female snipers are assy.

That too, but mostly like I say you’re like the one exception to the rule. You would think Yamato’s creator would give asses more appreciation...

Clothes
Mine has issues here. Namely she barely wears clothes aside from her usual pink dress. Being fair it’s not a bad costume and the PANTYHOSE never hurts, but variety good. Sadly we only see bikini and underwear for variations, all very pink and very unsurprising. She needs more costumes for a better score.

Mind

Personality
Mine is pretty nice. She was born in the West side of the Empire from unknown parents, but they were from different ethnic groups. That made her suffer a lot of discrimination and bullying from other kids because children are horrible. That made her want to create a better world with no discrimination and that’s why she joined Night Raid the assassination group that kills the wicked and helps also people that need support. There she befriended the other members and eventually Tatsumi the main guy too when he ended joining too. During a fight alongside her friend Sheele against the crooked justice from Seryuu Ubiquitous the villainess ended killing Sheele without shame; however eventually Mine defeated Seryuu and justice was made. When Tatsumi was kidnapped she leaded the fair charge for saving him and proved very useful, but eventually fell in a coma for a long time. She awoke by the end and lived with Tatsumi happily ever after. The anime instead omits the whole and important romance with Tatsumi and has her die during that fight, more on that later. But the manga is the important one so who cares about that.

Anyway there’s nothing wrong here. Mine is a bit normal for tsundere standards, but not in a bad way. She was a bit harsh with Tatsumi on the start but later and especially in the manga there are lots more cute moments among them that show they get along just fine. She also loves everyone else around, aside from Chelsea the trickster and even then she just dislikes being the butt from jokes for obvious reasons. The love is most evident when she defeats the bad guy that got Sheele’s big scissor Imperial Arm and she hugs the thing and welcomes Sheele back home. And while speaking the various unique Imperial Arms around Mine has one called Pumpkin and is a huge sniper rifle, presumably infused with the soul of a Shounen hero for it gets stronger when in a pinch for obviously weapons made for stealth benefit from that. Bet that another Imperial Arm is a flying ship that goes faster when the world is in danger obviously. Jokes aside Mine is a cute girl that likes sweets especially strawberry parfait and likes shopping, among other cute normal girl things. She might not be the best girl around but she was my favorite from the series and feel she needs more love.

Reception
Mine at the worst. While Japanese fans seem to quite like the girl, having her unarguably as the third most popular and having lots of fans around, the Western fanbase hates Mine big time and treats the poor girl like crap. They don’t have arguments either, since “she’s a normal tsundere” is hardly a reason to hate anyone unless you are a blind tsundere hater, and then you have the problem and not that girl obviously. Especially when Akame might be the series with the most wicked and disgusting villains from modern times; from face robbers to rapists to child molesters, this show has quite the evil cast all around. And yet the harmless tsundere is the most hated character, enough when the anime kills her as above all the comments were basically a freaking party! That was disgusting and simply nauseating and gross. I mean, raping and killing a mother and daughter in front of the grave of their husband/father is quite bad, but having a short fuse sometimes? Now that makes gears grind and haters call for blood. The only positive is that she still has a decent chunk of fans apparently, too bad they don’t step forward and defend the poor loli. Thankfully the series got Mine the happy end deserved for being adorable, but that doesn’t save her score for this.

Because optimally you would be loved and not hated. It’s hard for me thinking about you and not getting angry from the haters. That’s a bad thing.

Libido
Mine actually does well here. While tsundere she never goes too far, despite what the aforementioned blind tsundere haters say. Her relationship with Tatsumi is pretty good though, once dating cute moments abound. And finally like said above Mine did get pregnant which helps further. She could use more femdom since the author likes that, but otherwise fairly solid all around.

Age
Mine has an unknown age other than “teens” but apparently is slightly older than Tatsumi because clearly Takahiro has that bias. That said she looks loli and that gives her points for lolihags are simply the best women.

Voice
Yukari Tamura voicing lolis cannot lose. Period. Seems that Yukarin at one point joked there would be a magical girl spinoff starring Mine but that never happened. For that matter fanart referencing the other long range twintails Yukarin girl are sadly missing. Also is kinda noteworthy mentioning this series has my top three favorite voice actresses, but the one time the three girls met things went south rather fast. Maybe that’s why their meetings are rare. Furthermore aside from maybe Hilda this was Yukarin’s last big role. Sucks her awesome talent gets ignored now.

You deserve this and more! But rules are rules.

That’s because Topaz handled the ice sadist. I would score her like crap.

For some reason Esdeath doesn’t call to me that much. This sometimes happens, when girls I should like just feel unappealing. I call this Saber Syndrome after the hungry flat pantyhose honor blade.
